You supposed to push on ring with piston before checking gap to get good square fit

Lube lube lube. That wristpin bushing probably got smoked on startup. Great job on build, just need to use that lube. 👍

Does the wrist look bushing (the bronze part one in the rod) does it spin? (Mine does)

When you were measuring the piston ring end gap was the 0.20 to 0.40 in thousands of an inch

I think so , hard to remember this was over a year ago you might have to check a Manuel

Did you have to pull the head back off and reposition that timing chain guide?

Tell me, please, the tightening torque of the cylinder head, so as not to break the thread, what is the distance of the thermal gap between the piston and the head? Thanks yamaha raptor 350

Are the head bolts all the same or do you have to put them in the right spots

What was the compression for the piston I’m getting ready to put a 11:1 in mine

It would be helpful to lube the bolts before install and torquing

@@vrr6513 thanks for showing the timing marks as I might be working on one of these

Not lube. Antiseize. Its not the same thing. If you lube it it can come loose.. you should clean bolt threads and put on some antiseize.

You need to learn how to install the rings on the piston, you shouldn't open both ends of the ring and force it on. You start with one end and walk it round.
