I have recently visited Rhine Falls in Switzerland again and this time with my drone. Have a look at the drone video I have created and published on my channel and enjoy. I really like the beauty of Swiss nature.
Hey Lucky, 1. Nearest stations are 2, each takes you to the opposite sides of the Rhine falls. a. station Neuhausen Am Rhienfall - This will take you to the left side of Rhine falls when you stand facing the falls. Boats that take you to the center cliff start from this side. b. Station Schaffhausen - For every train going to Neuhausen station, next stop is Schaffhausen :) Train just crosses the falls and drop you to the other side. On this side, there is a hotel and restaurant, I just did not see the boats taking you to the center from this side. I would suggest Getting off at Neuhausen. 2. The fees I paid to go to the center and back from Neuhausen side of Rhine falls- 20 CHF pp. Hope you find this info useful, you may find this article useful for planning your trip. Please consider subscribing, as I am going to post even more about interesting and offbeat places in Europe, Wait I think you already did :) Regarding your question- Yes you can definitely cover them in a day, My suggestion would be- Start early for mount Rigi after you finish that then go for rhine falls. You can consider taking sunrise trains to Mount Rigi, I have never been there but I've heard from my friends that sunrise experience is unmatchable. You can learn more about that here www.rigi.ch/en/Experience-Enjoy/Summer/Sunrise-rides 2 hours At rhine falls are more than enough, Including boat ride to the center.
