Their earlier videos showcase their English with a heavier accent. I've noticed that as well. I mean it is their second language. So, they have gotten far better at speaking English since. Better than some English-speaking Americans I could name.
There are no keys in the studio version… and Ale is doing far more then bass part on the keys, actually duplicating the guitar chords in the right hand as well…. Complex and very very well played piano work here, more complex than I’ve normally heard from her sisters…. Amazing performance, love your reaction and support of the band!
pau keeping the beat off of danys guitar, Ale playing the song with a keyboard, thats a 21st 1st for me, am i shocked? hell yea jus like always, very cool find, thanks for sharing a little gem hidden away
That was a really cool clip, I haven't seen it before! And I think that was really cool with Pau hitting on the guitar as Dany was playing it -- the sisters make for a great team!
At this time they have not spent much time in the US/Canada so their accent is quite obvious. But coming from the international trade industry I can guarantee that accents tend to become less noticeable over time. They have not only put in their time for music but have definitely put in their time towards foreign languages and cultures. As you dig deeper, you''ll learn that they are multi-lingual!.

Talent from Monterrey...
2017- yes, they had fairly strong Spanish accents then. They have toned them done since because they have done so many interviews and discussions in English since then.
Yeah, but Dany's singing has been pretty good and accent free, even early on. The OMV for this song didn't have that accent. I only pointed it out because it struck me as I was watching it and I knew Dany didn't sing with that accent on the music video, so I was speculating it was because they were at home doing an interview in Spanish and then suddenly dove into a song. :-) No matter why, it doesn't affect how great the performance was at all. I just commented on it because it seemed interesting to me. Language and accents fascinate me.
@@Bodenmaddox here's another accent related Fun Fact for DPA/TW... when they were in the States, in the northeast, working with David Bendeth on the _Error_ album, Dany's accent morphed to be very similar to the area they were in... there was something they needed to do but Dany's accent was all wrong so she spent the next 3 or 4 days speaking only Spanish to get her accent back where it needed to be... i don't remember the details much more than that and haven't written it all down for future use yet but there it is 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
@@Bodenmaddoxboden absolutely correct… i agree with your observations about Dany and her accent in this versus the album etc. When Dany spoke back then she was the only one with a Spanish accent where her younger sisters, either through starting younger in English immersion or just being more natural at language than Dany, had zero identifiable Spanish accent but just a couple difficulties with the R sound, as expected. I only mention that about Dany because her own sisters called her out in an interview last year (hagendorf or whatever the show is) as being sometimes saying things wrong regardless of being in Spanish or English… Just a Dany thing. Yet she’s so eloquent, articulate, and the lead vocalist lol… it’s just how her mind works.
The Allison Hagendorf interview? Yeah, I recall them mentioning that they had to translate her nonsense, because she sometimes will say things in either language that make no sense. :-) Honestly, I don't know why that comment of mine set some people off a bit. It was just something I noticed in how she sang the lyrics in this live performance vs. the recorded version (or any live performance since). I think some people took it as a criticism or insult. It wasn't. Just an interesting (to me) observation, and I wondered if it was because she had been speaking non-stop Spanish for a long time before that performance given that they were in their home town doing that interview. Like I said in another response, language and accents just fascinate me.
It's all good. Just remember that The Warning Atmy love these ladies like our own daughters and are a bit sensitive to any comments. Our ladies mean the world to us and we have defended them against some pretty seeding comments from some real doushbags in the past (yours was no big deal).
When you click on the subtitles, then click on the Italian translation, then on Italian generated , then on the selection scroll to English and click on that. Then, surprise!......the translation sucks big time, and they hardly said anything before they started singing. I had seen it before but was good to see it again!

funny thing is that all their songs start off very stripped down and they add to them to build them into the final product... for them to also be able to strip songs (back) down and do acoustic sessions like this it totally cool and fantastic to watch... without a doubt, it shows the talent, dedication, and musical understanding they had at such young ages... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
The farther back you go with The Warning, the more accent Dany has. She's the oldest and spoke Spanish longer before being in English language situations.
*Backstory on playing acoustic:* When they were younger. Mexican TV stations would have a band setup their instruments & have the lip sync the song. The Warning did that one time & didn't like the experience. So they compromise. Come in & just do the interviews. Or come in and play a shorter acoustic version of the song. This also goes for interviews done in North America. The Warning will strip the song down to an acoustic version & perform it. As Dany has stated during an interview. Except for few but most of their original material starts off as acoustic songs. Then they get Warningfied.

I see where there is confusion. I should have chosen a better word. What I said was that she was laying down a "base" (not "bass") on the piano. :-)

This is from a local television station in his hometown Monterrey.
Awesome. Haven’t seen this one either. Ale is an exceptional piano player in addition to being exceptional at everything else 😂

Wow, that’s a rare find. 😎👍
If you haven’t seen the tedx from 2017, they still have strong accents back then.
First time for me as well, I do not hear the heavy accent you are talking about though, sounds like she always does to me.
Love Ale on keyboard. I wish she would play piano and keyboard more often.

When they present on TV, mainly do acoustic versions in order to play live. The audio on TV pesentations are a problem for rock songs
