You were the little voice in my mind as I wrote them - hope they entertain you a tiny bit as a thank you for the enormous amount of entertainment I get from watching your videos!
I've been playing this mod as a Berserker for the past few weeks. I LOVE the fact that I dont have to bother with base building with this character! But, in an effort to get things going faster I bumped the XP gain to 300% and the game has gotten REALLY hard REALLY fast. LOL I'm getting nothing but tainted zombies on every quest I do now and 9 times out of 10 another "event" happens during the quest. So not only do I have to deal with the purple zombies IN the POI but then I get a boatload of other zombies that just overwhelm me. lol I'm thinking about starting over and leaving the XP gain at normal so I can enjoy the game more. Love the game, love this mod, love the series and the channel!
Btw for Storage. One cool storage are the weapons and armour racks you find on the walls of weapons shops. They dont waste much space and can be put on every wall.
I have always had lots of success finding burners in food trucks in commercial districts. Those tiles are also great for cooking pots and even occasional gas stoves.
@@GunsNerdsandSteel I've wrenched a couple burners out of stoves built into kitchen furniture. Keep searching for ones ))) Also great chances to find shredders inside garages and building sites
At around day 30 I completely moved to the wasteland...and the difficulty jumped like....let´s say, it's the first time I wished I didn't!🤣 altough we don't celebrate thanksgiving in my country, I´ll wish you the best one man. Thanks for the entertainment and I´ll be looking forward to sat and sun😁
If you craft one of each in each genetic class you can combine them and it makes one so if you make a daring adv charismatic nature and better barter you can combine the three so you get a bonus to all.

Gas Stoves have the same spawn point as Microwaves. So going into houses and restaurants helps. In my builder game my first quest/first base was in a waffle house. On the first loot was a microwave so I snagged that to sell, second was a gas stove.
Some good progress here. Got the chem station up and cranking out gas so soon you will have a nice full tank, got the burner so you can make activated charcoal, woohoo! And finally exploring the other biomes a bit.
The T4 (and I assume T5) loot chests are great for storage, though if I have them up on the wall I feel compelled to put some sort of shelf underneath them so they don't look like they are floating, but then that takes up more space. Great for the floor though, gun safes too.
I find the best way to level guns without blowing through ammo is to get the half health knockdown with melee then finish off with a double tap to the head. Fairly easy to manage with one or two zombies and a dog.
Not sure if you're aware but you need the perk books to activate the skills. I've not gotten any bonuses without them. Generic Perk Books from boss crates allows you to make them or you can buy them. I could be wrong but it didn't seem like I got any from the mods alone. Please correct me if I'm wrong
Enjoying the series very much, loving this mod myself. Still I'm confused about the broken vendor gates, maybe look into the Better Barter skill, Tem. I heard it has an gate repair-man ability ;-)
If may make a suggestion currently you are building your paths to your fighting positions with one block of depth. Double or triple your path blocks to prevent one block being destroyed resulting the whole failure of a path.
You don't need to only scrap every vehicle, you have to remanber to siphon them first so you can get a lot more fuel that way, than just scraping the vehicle right away.
I noticed that when I broke my leg it hurt to walk up a ramp block but walking up a stair block was fine. This might have some bearing on zed pathing behaviour so would recommend using stair blocks on the horde base.
Once you have all 5 genetics mods crafted, you can make yet another mod out of them. This probably wont happen for a bit but definitely something you should strive for. And on your next class choice may i recommend the thug? That last shotgun is so OP and i pair it with my powered wakasashi. Im unstoppable man. With that being said i would highly recommend you dont change until you max out your sword skill as only current class weapons level efficiently. I think you get gimped down to 20% xp for non class weapon leveling. Last thing - always wrench air conditioners and pick up radiators in pois and laying around near car wrecks. You're gonna need that sweet sweet brass soon!
Running out of gas after ignoring the barrels of gas in the POI is honestly pretty funny... Edit: Also the green/white rusty barrel could have been picked up and works for the chem station also. It's the red/white barrels that won't work.

After reading the title, I can't help but think you are starting to see or run into Seekers.... I can tell you your base wont last long if they show up and aren't dealt with immediately... hence the explosive resistant concrete. I've been doing a play though on the mod as well as ran into them last night shortly after hitting lv 30
would like to play this, but im not signing up for a goddamn discord. getting tired of everyone having to make access to their mod require some unique bullshit. at this rate next year to get a retexture mod your going to need a discord, bluesky, mastadon, news letter subscription, phone app, and donate tier 3 for 1 year prior. fucking tired of it.
You don't need to sign up to discord. Just enter nickname, solve captcha and enter any :) birth date. This is how i downloaded mod. I agree with you about this signing up madness.
Hey gns fun idea for your next series what if you do a whole cross dimensions series let’s say you mix mods together like rebirth and darkness falls and so on just a idea of having universes clashing together sounds amazing I think it would be awesome for everyone if you did it

For the horn to open the trader you need at least 1 in better bartering
I've had some great results from adding ladders and/or more ramps to help alleviate the traffic jam up to the fighting position.

The Loot Gathering Unit is a good storage option too, plus it gathers loot bags in the area. Though it's 2 blocks wide.

Ah yeah, I've been focusing on the aesthetics, but I need to start focusing on the practicality too!
Rather than sell the bellows stick one in your forge ?

Chests from lvl 5 buildings have an enormous amount of space , pick one of that and you can literally stuff everything you got in one 😂
