    brain entrainment sounds like something too good to be true- but these actually do work as described. I've used stimulants frequently in the past for the same effect (prescription or otherwise..) - that's just to say I'm not at all sensitive to subtle or borderline nonexistent changes in mental state. This definitely isn't a placebo. I look forward to the advancement of brain entrainment, it seems to me to be a very promising new frontier. ( It's only a matter of time before they start pumping these out of specially designed speakers in your office to boost productivity... for better or worse...) Thank you for providing these videos, they've been a great tool.

    I bet this will also be a hit, cause now it's just what people need for a longer, yet not-tiring session for studying.

    You really ought to write movie scores, your music is so beautiful!

      +Carla Jo That's very kind of you but I can't take credit for the original soundtracks I use. Although I do put some of my compositions together and add elements to some of the soundtracks, my main expertise is on the brainwave entrainment side. I buy licenses to use the soundtracks and music clips I use, then mix them together with my brainwave entrainment tones and effects. The soundtrack for this one and a few others you commented on, where created by a talented composer called Andrew Scott Foust, whose main focus is on creating movie scores and TV work. You can find his work here: www.andrewfoust.com.

    Hi Jason,
    Do you think I could use this track for creative purpose (intense thinking, writing) ?
    Thanks again for your great work, it's always appreciated and really helps me a lot.

      Renoir Gilbert This tracks spends the whole time between the 6th and 54th minute at 18Hz frequency in Beta. This will help hold your focus if you've already got a story, or whatever you're writing about planned in your head and you just want to get it all typed out without getting distracted and forgetting it. But it wouldn't be a track I'd use if I was hoping to find some new inspiration and stimulate my creative side as I wrote.
      When you want to get creative, I think it works better if you can try to get your brain entering different mental states in a shortish time period, so that your mind doesn't keep following the same well trodden thought processes and similar thinking patterns. I have a track called 'Creative Focus' which spends 2 minutes in Beta, steps down and spends 2 minutes in Alpha, then down for 2 minutes in Theta, then cycles through the same thing twice more. It doesn't let your mind get stuck in one mental state for too long. I think that track would be more likely to stimulate some creativity. th-cam.com/video/td8_rMeAHdU/w-d-xo.html

      Jason Lewis - MindAmend Thanks for your reply ! But can I switch between the two when I write (for example Creative focus first then this one), or does the brain need a bit of rest to keep the tracks effective ?

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Renoir Gilbert You can switch between the two and that would be a good combination.

    Awesome stuff, is there any way to get the sheet music for the piano?

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rusty Shackleford I don't actually compose the musical soundtracks myself, so I don't have access to the sheet music I'm afraid. I use pre-recorded soundtracks and mix them with my brainwave entrainment tones.

    How many hours can i listen to it ? (Put like )

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There isn't a specific recommended time period but like anything we all have our limits. You don't want to listen for so long that you feel groggy or get a headache. If you do listen for longer periods stay well hydrated.

    Hi Jason,
    You got anything that can help me with computer programming ?
    Thanks

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sunny Patel Hi Sunny, this Peak Focus for Complex Tasks can be helpful for that, if you are looking for a shorter burst of more intense focus. If you are going to be programming over a longer period, I'd recommend my latest video Study Focus Extended: th-cam.com/video/6Zc-FOCXCAs/w-d-xo.html, or Cognition Enhancer Extended: th-cam.com/video/nnaaxaAOlPk/w-d-xo.html.

    Is it temporary or permanent effectiveness ?

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Iliass Belz There has been some research which has indicated that brainwave entrainment can have longer lasting effects, but it's still up for debate how long the effects can last. It's definitely not permanent, few things are. I like to promote it more for the shorter term benefits which are easier to quantify, and as an alternative to taking a pill, drinking coffee, an energy drink etc.
