I'm just an old harp player so it's hard not to just focus on his incredible harp playing, but really focus on each musician,my god what talent.little Walter is still the gold standard we all live by.But wow,Carlos is so great.sort of reminds me of paul Delays playing....Spike.Portland Or.
If you like Carlos I’d highly recommend checking out Mitch Kashmar’s stuff. He also has a unique playing style and is quite impressive on both the diatonic and chromatic (although he doesn’t rely on overblows as much as Carlos).
The Man plays a diatonic like a chromatic but blusier thanks to mastering the the technique of overblows. Mad respect. I had the privilege of listening to a weekly jig he had in a small club in Hamilton, Canada.
@@jerryfierro1 Sounds very much like a Paul Butterfield number, very familiar but...Can't think of the piece. Carlos is able to raise the hairs on back of my kneck. This guitarist is one of the best that has ever worked with him, Michael ?
THIS is a great show.
Phenomenal harp player and superb band!
If I ever get the honor to see these guys the weeds on me.

❤Unparalleled!!😊
Thank you for posting this! Saw him live about 15 years ago in a little club in Oregon and this brings wonderful memories. Talented man!
i would go to the crossroads if i could play the harmonica like you later, it's wonderful!
Incredible, awesome & spetacular... pure fire
Thank you so much for this. Really, I love it.
I remember this live on tv 15 years ago, recorded on vhs, this guitarist changed my way of playing, I tried to emulate it over the years,. ahha
El mejor de todos!!!
the 5 dislikes are from harmonica hacks that wouldn't know a tongue block from an overblow if it slapped them in the face.
Or fools that only want to hear clones of Little Walter and other old school blues artists! Carlos is amazing! And quite refreshing!
Great band too!!
tongue blocked overblow by gruenling lee sankey among others. konstantin rheinfeld haha❤❤❤
thanks for sharing

?? sounds a little like Spencer Davis Group's "I'm a Man," especially in that chromatic walk-down. th-cam.com/video/4_gFF-z9OS8/w-d-xo.html
