The Fletcher Wildlife Garden is a verdant sanctuary located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Nestled within the Central Experimental Farm and adjacent to the scenic Rideau Canal, this garden offers an easily accessible escape into nature for both locals and visitors.
Situated at the southern end of the Arboretum, the garden is spread over 6.5 hectares (16 acres) and provides a diverse habitat for a wide variety of plant and animal species. The garden is divided into several sections, each designed to support different types of native flora and fauna. These include a butterfly meadow, a pond, a woodland area, and a demonstration backyard garden, among others.
