One wonders why this early movie stuff was in mono (with a high amount of unreleased works) whereas the same can’t be said of the concurrent Saint Seiya movie scores.
Hello. Yes, it is sad, because Kikuchi composed amazing music for both the movies and the TV series. Much of that soundtrack has not been released, only the music related to the Broly movies has been compiled in depth. The 2006 album Dragon Ball Z: BGM Collection is the most complete yet, but only for the Dragon Ball Z soundtrack, as it is only on the DB album. & DBZ: Great Complete Collection, part of the music from the first production was included. @@seijikikuchimusicchannel And most of that last BGM collection was a rushed rehash of the 5 CD set, the only new things being the soundtrack suites of Movies 12 and 13 which they suspiciously waited a whole decade before releasing (even as the ED singles were out within weeks of each movie's debut).
