I will be ranking all the classes from worst to best, with Pros and Cons.

In my opinion the octotank should be rated lower. A triple/dual twin (or triple/dual flank) can kill it with ease since they usually outpenetrate it. And hunting it isnt a huge problem since fireing will reveal your location and tanking the food will make you slower.
Id say it gets rekt by high penetration.

Most/all focused tanks in the game can out-penetrate Octotank, but being able to follow and kill the Octo is the real challenge.
EZIC The thing you don't get is that just destroying its bullet isn't enough. Even when you start following it it's not guaranteed you'll reach the Octo and kill it. You can speed up yourself by shooting behind but you can't do that and shoot bullets at the same time.
I usually have some movement speed and shoot bullets infront (to catch octos bullets) and then boost till i need to shoot again. works really well for me
Octos Nowadays are more offensive. Most don't focus on movement speed. So if they are caught they can't outrun anyone fast enough.
Yeah i actually started playing as normal unupgraded sniper recently. Its alot of fun! And if im in trouble i can always upgrade to overlord :D
I feel like making a bit more depth explanations on a few tanks ranks that are "controversial".
Why is Triple Flank ranked so ""low"? Well first, the only "Low tier" in this list is #9 and #10, which are Necro and Tri-angle. Every tanks in the game beside these 2 are viable and will shine easily if you know how to use them. From #8 onward, it goes from "Viable" to "(Nearly) overpowered". And I feel like Gunner and the higher ranks are more reliable and powerful than Triple Flank.
I also see a lot of people disagreeing with Octotank being high tier. It is true that it's not the best tank when it come to 1v1. But its biggest strength is not pure 1v1, it's how it can be tricky to follow & kill and its other strength that it can deal with multiple opponents and that it's very good in the Middle pentagon area where Pink triangles doesn't bothers it at all most of the time.
Tri-angle is last on my list because in 1v1, it has speed and.... that's it. That speed is good for dodging and retreating, but don't expect to out-penetrate a lot of tanks with one one barrel shooting forward. Necro is really just a weaker Overlord like I said in the video.
And lastly, we all have different favorite tanks and we aren't equally skilled with every tanks. There is tanks you success more with than other. If you want to say that a specific class is better or worse than another, please explain and justify your argument so I can take you seriously.
Also, unless they introduce a sandbox mode or something, I don't see myself creating version 3.0 anytime soon because of three reasons:
1. I'm lazy
2. They will just keep creating more and more tanks and buff/nerf other tanks
3. No matter how I rank the tanks, there will always be people that disagrees.

Lawrence Chen I have played body damage a lot and I can safely say it's bad against people who know what they are doing. Really, the only thing you have to do to defeat Body builds is to just shoot and get away. It's that simple and easy. I've been ambushed/surprised by Body damage builds multiple time but they could never actually kill me because I know what I'm doing.

Tri-Angle/Booster on Body Damage? Overlord doesn't stand a chance
This was such a well detailed and accurate list :D. My favorite tank in my opinion though is the Manager because I enjoy being able to kill people while still being able to hide when I can't escape.
what i need to take: sniper, twins, mchinegun or flank guard?
Is there any way to pause while playing the game? Sometimes I have to go to the bathroom in the middle of a good game and I hate to give it up after working my way up to level 45.

Well actually, it is not because the bullets have less penitration, but if you press ignore for 30 and 45 tier upgrades it is the same

it is bad in a way because it has only eight triangles while necromancer has way more and with enough it can overwhelm the overlord by moving and using body damage and getting more while around it so the necromancer as long as its in a highly squared area it will win up against overlord
necromancer can run and get more if they have enough speed and body damage

The octotank is overrated. It generalizes in everything but specializes in nothing.

Unless they're aimlessly spinning (which strips any hopes of defense against penetrators), they have pockets of safe spots where you can approach them without taking any damage if you're good at maneuvering.
Of all the final ranks, Octotanks are what I killed the most of.
That's true, but It requires efforts & perseverance and I didn't always succeed. The old video also had Octo at #2 before I drop it down with this current version, if that make you happy.
+Shyguymask they gotta nerf triple twin I had a hard time killing one with overlord, I tried to rotate my missiles around the triple twin, this made it stop shooting me and focus on the triangles, however the 2 other bullet holes made it hard for me to approach

i think everybody with a level of more than 29 can easily kill an overlord. Pentashot is the #1 for me, because with it you can easily get on the top (shooting slowly to all sides can gives you 2500 in one minute)

The overlord and overseer are almost the same. They both generate triangles and both travel at same speed. What's the difference other than 2 more cannons?

My favourite is the new level 45 upgrade for tri-angle that has two pairs of rear facing guns. Once you get the hang of it, you can move in quickly and turn your rear to opposition tearing them to pieces

I think that the stalker is the best class. It has a lot of extra range, so classes like the overlord can't reach it as long as you keep them on the edge of your screen, the invisible aspect of it makes it easier to regen when you're in a sticky situation. All you have to do is run into the middle of the map, go invisible, then wait for the pink triangles to either make the person go away, or kill them. Yes, some cannons can easily kill them, but they divert their attention so you can make it so you can stand a chance. It's cons are that it's slow and someone who randomly sprays bullets might hit you while you're trying to regen.

I didn't care for overlord that much, I find the triangles move far too slowly and you're defenceless if they get destroyed. I really like triplet now, just got to the top of the leaderboard. I'm finding that triple twin is a pretty tough opponent one on one, fought to many draws with them in my last few games. What are the best stats to upgrade for triplet?
Using overlord with maximum bullet speed, damage, and penetration kills max HP triple twins and octotanks in seconds. I got to 250K with it and 200K while recording (shameless advertising FTW).

Only if the overlord has an all maxed offense. If someone has a 'good' triplet their bullets can easily outdo those of the overlord's. ( You need to use the triangles cleverly). But I agree, Overlord is a excellent class.

I myself have a soft spot for Triple Twins. For the most part, the duel stream of bullets can penetrate through Octotanks, destroy bullets from Destroyer tanks and even become fast enough to break through Overlord defenses. Also, fun fact for the people who don't know, E is an auto fire button.
umm no....Even if you max out bullet penetration you can't penetrate through the bullets of a destroyer who has good reload and penetration.That is if they have it. Overlord also, their 'triangles' are also tough, so it takes some time to destroy them. But I agree with the octotank. They are easily out penetrated by other tanks.

The tri-angle is the best in my opinion. Because of the high speed, you can just plow effortlessly through fields of polygons, leveling up is so quick. And if your in a tight situation you can just run away, faster than anyone else.

Triangle is really good with a body damage build, I would recommend trying that before putting it in last.
Body damage isn't actually viable, it's just "fun", not powerful.

How to make penta?
Honestly, I think Destroyer should have been higher, due to the amazing juggernaut strategy using body damage, and the necromancer is very effective if used correctly and strategically. I don't get the dislikes though, this was an accurate guide, and not everyone has good recording software, so the bad quality is understandable. What matters is that the video was enjoyable, and that is what it was. The overlord thing is the most true thing in existence, I have killed probably every class in the game more than once with it, and gotten 250K easily. It can be useful in team combat if used to sneak up from behind other tanks.
In my opinion, any last upgrade can be relatively good, it depends on how you upgrade your tank, because some tanks recquire more upgrades from some stuff than others.

the only problem w/ overlord is that if an enemy stays/goes out of ur sight of view, it gets very difficult 2 chase them when they run away from ur bullets, that's y whenever I use overlord I max my movement so I can chase down other players

Tri-Angle is actually very good, when you shoot the 2 guns behind give you a little boost. Use this boost to your advantage by maxing both reload and movement speed to be the fastest tank. This way you can quickly escape from people and catch up to people you're trying to kill. You can use body damage if you want and try to ram into people but I rather use bullet damage and penetration, and a few points (4-5) in max health.
My favorite build for Tri-Angle would probably be 0/4/0/2+x/4+x/4+x/7/7

When you're moving forward, shoot backward and depending of your class you'll gain speed.

7:45 I can destroy THOSE SOOOO EASILY with triangle! Remember? How you said they are fast? Well the booster makes it vvveeerry fast when maxed . So I go for max hp, max hp regeneration, max body damage, max speed, and reload for extra boost for the booster, and they can kill overload SOOO EASILY! I know this is outdated but still, it's like the ultimate counter in my opinion
Thing about tri angle is you don't build for bullet damage. You build for reload speed, movement speed, health, regen and body damage and do your best to charge enemies. The bullets are just for speed and to overwhelm enemies.

I rate the basic tank as number 1 for me. It has decent stats all around, accurate and powerful bullets that can travel far offscreen with max shot speed, and you can shoot backwards to retreat. It also has the element of surprise as most opponents won't take a basic tank seriously. The only issues are that you have to be willing to shoot opponents that you can't see, and you can be overwhelmed by multiple enemies.My usual build is max Bullet Speed, Bullet Penetration and Bullet Damage, 5 or 6 in Reload, and the rest in some combination of Health Regen and Max Health, with Movement Speed thrown in sometimes.
I love using the Tri-Angle. It's the fastest tank in the game and it makes for easy retreat. Hit and run tactics are golden.
I agree, i think tri-angle is not that bad and it can also being used with max body damage, better than the destroyer in my opinion.
Now it has an upgrade and it's even more powerful. I killed 3 Triple Flanks and 3 Gunners last run with it.

Yeah triangle is pretty good, I can still easily dodge their bullets and kill them, but only if they don't run away first. Great for escaping basically, but not so much for battle.

Why do you rank tri-angle so low? I'd say it's actually more op them some people believe. With max dmg, penetration, and reload and the rest dumped smartly into the others (ignoring body damage) it's literally unkillable when played knowingly. You hit like a truck and your the fastest ship to boot. If you get in a pickle just boost on out of there. With the combination of high penetration, speed, and controlling where the exhaust bullets go what could even touch you? I'd like to hear your opinion.
This apply to other tanks. With max penetration, reload and damage, you become more powerful. Triplet has 3 barrels with powerful focused shooting, Octotank shoot in all directions. Tri-angle can shoot easy to avoid bullets behind itself and go fast, but what else? Just one barrel is not enough to beat other people in 1v1s.
With the stats I mentioned even the triplet with the same level of penetration is still approachable head on and an octotank is a free kill. This games most important stat arguably is penetration. It allows your bullets to phase through the opponents. So that coupled with with the speed of the tri-angle allows you to bum rush straight into their face with a clump of max dmg, max penetration bullets. In a normal situation players fight over a distance and this is why people have this negative view of this tank. It's very unorthodox, almost like playing a melee build. So I''ll run you through what I do. Spot a tank and judge its stats, line up straight and charge straight into his face. With the stats i mentioned you should negate enough oncoming shots to get the kill relatively unharmed. Also this is assuming the enemy tank also has max penetration (anything less becomes almost unfair for the enemy). The only tank i can think of that somewhat counter it would be the destroyer because of its super high penetration. And again, this is the fastest tank in the game so escaping if need be is just icing on the cake.
If my max movement & max HP Tri-angle can't approach a Triplet/Gunner then you shouldn't be able to approach triplets with Tri-angle's weak bullet stream unless they have poor penetration. Can you post an evidence that you can run into a Triplet despite the fact Triplet obviously has a lot more powerful bullets?

The Tri-Angle/Booster is OP with max movement speed, reload, body damage and max health. Also upgrade health regen but it can't go max with the others. Reload helps you go faster.
I always use the triplet. It's really easy to take out triple twins, octo tanks, and even guns in a 1 v1 because of large bullets, high pen, and sheer bullet concentration.
I'd say that the only con is that it can be flanked easily.

Triangle is good if you know how to use it. It can deal okay damage and can run away very quickly, while forcing enemies to be careful as your bullets will be right next to them
The new class Manager, I would rate it 4.
Pros:
-stay still and will go invisible
Cons:
-staying still can be hard when
being swarmed
-very slow
While invisible it can move it's triangles around without being detected, making it difficult for other tanks to stop the swarm, but if they spot the area the triangles come from they can easily kill you, when they find you you would run, revealing yourself to other tanks, but when invisible you're very deadly to non suspicious tanks.

It doesn't matter what gun you have, it's all about how you play
Gunner is my new favorite now, surprised it was only ranked number 5. It's good that it unlocks at level 30 while triplet unlocks at 45 and you have to use the god awful triple shot to get to it. I don't find triplet any better, I like to have more smaller bullets than less bigger shots, it's kind of like a machine gun, shotgun combo, very effective and harder for enemies to dodge shots. Gunner's shots also do very good damage and you can upgrade penetration.
The way I talk about Gunner in the video implies it has max penetration. Smaller bullets mean easier to dodge, while Bigger bullet mean harder to dodge. The game is actually very balanced and Gunner is definitely a good class.
What about the Machine Gun?
What about stalker. I am a beast at stalker and diep.io in general. My favorite classes are stalker and manager. I know Manager did not come out at the time of this video but I am just wondering how stalker isn't on this list.
I REKT FACE WITH NECROMANCER, tip, when your going out to fight, make sure your damage, penetration and bullet speed is maxed, or else the minions will not be at their max potential, (in the new update, make sure your reload is max, then it maxes out the amount of minions you can have)

Pretty good vid but in my opinion I suggest using the triplet I always get 1st place using it, just max reload, bullet damage, bullet penetration, bullet speed and 4 health regen and 3 max health I'm all set.Of course this is my opinion.
What upgrades are you recommending to the overlord?
For most tanks I have two main builds
2 Healths, 7 reload, 7 damage, 7 penetration, 7 bullet speed and 3 movements.
The other one is 2 regens, 3 healths, 7 reload, 7 damage, 7 penetration and 7 bullet speed.
+Shyguymask Thanks, i heard about the second loadout from a youtuber that recommended using it with machine gun (he said its the best class), but i think it makes you pretty weak at the middle, were you cant really defend from pink triangles with this class.

Does bullet speed and penetration works on overlord triangles ?
I remember when i was using it, i had maxed damage and no penetration, and i wasnt dealing any damage... that was so weard... maybe penetration gives your triangles more health, and give them more time to "live" while dealing damage ?

Reload doesn't matter because overlord has 4 spawning holes.
Body damage is useless for overlord....
Max health isn't going to help because if you are in a situation facing multiple tanks or if you are fighting a tank and he hits you a lot it will take a long time to regen.
Mostly agree with your rankings and descriptions, however I have found that the triple tank is not"flawless, as you say. I would say it is weak in battles against opponents on all sides, a category of assessment in which it is easily bested by the octotank or the triple double. But appreciate the list! I need to try those classes!
Most tanks in general have trouble dealing with multiple opponent especially if they come on different sides.
Yeah so it is a flaw shared by many tanks, except for octotank.
Cons for the triplet are that when you shoot in front of you and move the way you're shooting then your slow as a snail

quick tip for anybody wanting to use the destroyer class use this spread, max health, max regen, max body damage max movement speed, and the rest in reload the trick is to uses the recoil from the bullet and move closer to shapes and other tanks you are so tanky and when you hit people they just get ripped a new one and if you want to go for the leader board just go to the center and let the pink triangles attack you you get xp but with all your health and regen you don't really lose any damage the
Triple Twil also faces competition with Auto 5
Con for triplet...it comes from the triple shot which is a pain to use

the Triple Twin can take out an Octo Tank because the Triple Twin is like a focused Octo Tank and can out penetrate one, so the Triple Twin is overall better
