I was 8/9 when they all came out and i was more drawn to them than star wars figures and i loved the star wars figures of that era, the clone wars had just started, and i had all the clones as the jedi all were paralysed from the waist down so never got the first wave of the jedi, god i wish hasbro would find a way to make figures this good for 10 pounds/10 bucks, when these came out they was what 7.99 universally and the vehicles like 20 to 50 depending on what, let alone the awesome multi packs of like 6 figures and the actiin packs where indi could swing across a pit or something like that
@JeffTheFutureJaros Yes! I have an upcoming vintage to today review where I'll show you the 1983 Indiana Jones action figure and how it compares to today.
Those are not "cult badges" They are a push dagger, or "Katar" sometimes called a Bundi dagger. They were used by assassins, among others. They are hindu in origin and feature a grip perpendicular to the blade bracketed by guards/guides either side of the hand and wrist. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katar_%28dagger%29
such a shame they failed with the indiana jones line i think the main problem for me anyway was the poor face sculpts on the earlier waves the costumes looked faithfully recreated but indy didnt look much like harrison especially when you compare them to the han solo's hasbro have produced fantastic review not very well thought out line such a shame
@NERFHERDER76 Yeah, the first face sculpts were atrocious by today's standards. My next review is going to focus on the Playmates Star Trek line, which was a disaster as I'll explain. I've been watching your reviews - first rate, man!
I used to love these, would play with them with a friend during lunch at school. Think my Dad sold them at some point, haven't been able to find them for a few years. Disappointing.
I wish they made more of these figures. I remember picking a few figures back in 09 for $4.
Liam Gray Me too. The sculpting was great and there was so much potential for a great set.

Indiana Jones is awesome.
I love these figures.
@MTAHawkboy Hey buddy! I recommend Amazon. I just checked and found one for $11.74 new. I think that's a reasonable deal.
That Mola Ram figure is great, i'd love that one, he's my favorite character from Indian Jones for sure in all the movies. Great Review.
