    How come this song never made it on apple, was it meant for a future album?

    • @louise_rose
      @louise_rose ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The tune and beat are fairly close to "Crown of Thorns" which had already been on the Shine EP and was recorded again for the album, also the keys are almost the same for both songs. I figure they wouldn't have wanted to include two songs that seemed this close on the same album. The same reason why Neil Young's "Berlin" was left unreleased and only exists in a (very good) version played in its namesake city, West Berlin in late 1982 (excellent filmed gig, they did it as an encore and never played it again): the similarities with the long moody ballad "Like an Inca" at the end of the Trans album would have looked too striking if it had come out soon after.

      @@richardwhite8227 it was such a beautiful scene it’s a shame that it lost so much to that damn drug from Andy to Kurt to Layne. As well as losses from other drugs which is how Mike Starr was lost. Mark from Mudhoney who was a friend of Andy Wood was lucky he was able to clean himself up as he too was addicted to H him and Mark from Screaming Trees both shook their habits and got it together as opposed to their peers/friends

    I HATE Pearl Jam, to this day.
    What was, what could have been, what SHOULD have been.
    The Seattle "grunge scene," all started because of this.
    After Andy, died.....
    Cali & N.Y. executives were struggling to sign "something seattle." Hence, finding......
    Groups that been here the whole time.... Soundgarden, Nirvana, Mudhoney, Alice in Chains.
    Ultimately, it turned out good for the "scene."
    Never gunna get another ANDY.
