As per the Constitution, ensuring both the external and internal security of Pakistan is a function of the country's military. The real questions are why were so many of its installations attacked by the mobs, who organised and led these attacks and for what purpose? Whether the accused are tried in one type of court or the other is not relevant. If there is an undue delay in hearing the cases, it is a separate issue and the cause for it should be investigated. There is no justification for making assumptions and jumping to conclusions. If we do, what is the motive behind it?
