It was the correct call by the umps. The announcers and iowa coach were trying to use pro rules in college. College rules say they are out. you have to follow college rules. if you don't like it then you need to have them change the rules.

@@caseyfinn4682 Sure, the runner did not stray out out of the baseline, and did slide into the correct line. In the 10th, the runner was not in the correct path for a legal slide, so he must be ruled to have committed a slide violation.
