HIP HOP 2VS2 TOP 4: Evion & Sidney (winner) vs Axelito & Pepito
This Event "Improve yourself Dance Festival" is organized by Stadtwerke Bochum in coorperation with Cypher44.
This festival goes on for three days (from 29.09. - 01.10.2023) and is filled with Jams, Q&A Night, Battle & Workshops.
People from all over the world take part in this festival.
International dancers (HipHop & Popping) will compete on a dance floor under the critical eyes of an international jury.
The battle system is a simple knockout system.

meh evion still focuses too much at forcing big moves instead of following the beat. Disappointing he still hasn't fixed this because it means he probably never will. He's not a kid anymore.

​@@paharnickrb What is supposed to impress me about evion after Ive seen alex the cage? 3:35 beat disappears, evion continues big move off beat. crowd still cheers, big move = big reaction. Many moments like this from evion this year expose him as a guy with rehearsed sequences, not a spontaneous freestyler like alex. Just like paradox and zyko before him, he fits these sequences into the beats and barely improvises. Someone like you sees no difference between these two approaches, more concerned with the spectacle than the artistry.

@@daytona-x7bjust because there’s no sound doesn’t mean the counts aren’t there that’s the space in between it was actually a smart move he stayed consistent with the music. It’s actually high level wouldn’t expect some to understand that have you ever played a metronome ? You hear all that space between the sounds, those counts still exist.
