You were right the first time ! This was about when the idiots in charge of us on Notwork SouthWorst suddenly decided to call passengers customers, and repaint everything in red, blue or white, rather badly ! Still it was a king compared to today's overpriced setup. In those days a surprising number of staff, including myself, were on the passenger's side. Our passengers on my line knew this, and only very occasionally would you get an arsehole. Many of today's staff are only there for the money and don't give a shit about public service. Glad I'm retired.
no but check when they where back in stock, check if nearby stores have it in stock, or suggest an alternative product. (you can tell i used to work in retail)
Not ever is it easy to keep temper, no one could after rush , but other modes of transit enforce againt any harsh , and make a long and longer bank march , over the same quarterly arch
See, the beauty of the old slam doors was that four eyes could have been thrown from the train whilst it was moving. That'll teach him not to travel at peak hours.
That driver 2D43 I would put that signal back to danger and when he rang back tell him to stuff himself! Lmao No I would of been like don't speak to me like that, have some respect! Then reported him to his manager for (a) not following correct signal centre procedure of reporting in which is in the RSSB rule book and not following correct verbal discipline again in the RSSB I know it's a dramatization but this stuff does go on because some people are just rude and obnoxious from drivers, guards, signalmen and managers I love the railway and it has it's faults but we are in a new age where things are changing again
11:15 Idiot driver. You just don't behave like that with the signaller! Hanging up because "it don't matter now, it's off anyway" is the wrong thing to do!
Legend has it that the Beeching Report states that Paul Tyreman has to appear or be involved in every railway related programme…
I want to see more of Dai Morgan

ITS PAUL FROM THE 90S!!!!!!
Paul is also in the Railtrack / Network Rail training films etc.
he could have easily got on that train, those slam door ones were famous for people getting on and off when the train is arriving/departing
Nah mate, not if its notching up, past 10miles and a yards infront
Famous for people slipping and going under them too 😮
My god the acting, it's terrible
Its a pity southern don't teach their staff at East Croydon some proper customer care and service,
+triplevalve metrocammell Too right. It's got much worse since I drove the old Brighton line CIGs...
Nice to see some old colleagues doing some work for a change.
The sequence where the assistant is helping him find a lightbulb feels like the beginning of a porn movie.
The music sounds like it should be for a cartoon!
6:28 that queue is very close for comfort!
I love Paul BUT what did he expect her to do? Magic up a lightbulb?

6:45 Why the fuck is he only just turning up for a train about 3 minutes before it leaves?
i was thinking that, but alas you do get passengers who do turn up at the last second and blame everyone for their short sightedness.
See, the beauty of the old slam doors was that four eyes could have been thrown from the train whilst it was moving. That'll teach him not to travel at peak hours.
A bit harsh!
11:30 Incorrect procedure for a SPAD.
Potter's Police, Security and Railway videos No shit, that’s really bad

Too bad that we didn't have the RSSB back then!
@@marcuspotter5590 RSSB is pretty much derived from BR policies and procedures and a few updated versions on rules... that's all
