I went on a trip to Tennessee about 6 months ago and I brought my 2018 X3 and I was unaware that I had to have a muffler, lucky for me a cop didn’t stop me for it being straight piped.
Nice vid We can run on the road here in Michigan in most townships with a 25mph top speed Looking forward to your DIY turn signal vid, like the way that looks
Now every time I go to Silver Lake, I can drive from the rental straight to the Dunes lol. Last year I got a talking to from the sheriff for not having a plate.
@@MohawkDaveOffRoad Right That’s one place you can’t run them, all the people with summer homes complained when they tried to make it happen I’ll have to keep an eye out for you, we live a 1/2hr north of the dunes in Ludington and have a lifted Jeep Gladiator and just got a call that our X3 max is ready to pick up
Hey Dave~ What you could have done is Registered your X3 in Montana like I did, and you could drive it anywhere... I Live in Miami and have the Street Legal Kit Made by Ryco along with the side mirrors and the Corbin Fang Lights... I've been pulled over several times by Police, but I think they just wanted to check out my x3 or Me!!! LOL😂 Love Your Channel!!! 💋
Pretty much the same as Michigan BUT michigan calls for electric windshield wipers and electric windshield washers. Also requires a separate Emergency Brake mechanical controled caliber connected to operate together on each rear wheel rotor via handle inside the cab. DOT windshield and DOT tires. Front and rear bumpers. It requires TR54 form signed by inspecting police officer. Requires State LIABILITY Insurance before the Secretary of State voids the Manufacturer VIN # and provides a Michigan Title as an "ASSEMBLED ASSEMBLED PICKUP" which you need in order to order State License Plates. After the SOS AGENT's final vehicle inspection he/she will place a decal on the "new pickup" Michigan with its new Michigan State Title.. The registration card with license plate numbers are by law to show "ASSEMBLED ASSEMBLED PICKUP"... ITS A MUST HAVE!! SECRETARY OF STATE told me that three times so I would understand... I understood. After all that money and time spent what will that get you? Michigan, after you comply with the conversions requirements, you will have a small offroad vehicle now legal to run on all roads as cars and trucks with the "same speed limits up to 65mph" and go whenever they go except INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS..
You really put routself out there explaining this but I’m interested in Utv I live in pigeon forge tn if you now were that’s at and during car show all types of vehicles show up driving from out of state not if I drive one like that t to work every day I’m doomed by Local law. Why
What did you have it registered or titled as? I'm in KY and apparently if its not titled as a dune buggy or anything else I can transfer from out of state to KY. Telling me if any part part is constructed from ATV or side by side it is not registerable.
What type of mileage do u see people getting out of these machines I want to get one for a semi daily basically a second car that I can toy with but I haven’t seen not one with 20k miles or more
@@outkast187 yea but even that isn’t really high for how much they cost I mean I understand things break but the drivetrains should be able to do at least 100k
I agree, but I’ll take whatever I get. At the same time I kinda understand why they won’t let them on the highway as it’s nowhere near meeting highway safety standards, but then again neither are motorcycles or the three wheel weird snowmobile looking things.
Washington state allows registered street legal sxs’s on 35mph and below roads. Which opens up a lot more options. Nice ride!
Just received my bent metal windshield thank you you was right it’s well worth the wait
I love this Maverick and how you have it dressed, you nailed it my friend 😎

That is definitely an interesting option, I might have to look into that. Did you have to open an LLC?
Thanks for watching.

I want to move to tenn just for this
ive seen people in rzrs with plexiglass windshield no wipers and it was street legal with a plate in michigan here i thought u had to use safty glass

We can register as an off-road vehicle. It won’t transfer over to other states.
I’m coming to tennesee in June. I’m planning on bringing my x3. Is it legal to ride on the streets around pigeon forge?
yes it is there’s a bunch of places in gatlinburg that will rent them out
@@serohaguju1054 I don’t want to rent. I want to bring my x3 with. Is that legal and what do I have to do to be legal?
@@Skb174 you need mirrors windshield and turn signal to be legal and yes you can bring your own

Can you run them on state high ways just not interstates
45mph and under
How fast can they go?
Im in illinois. Specifically what obstacle's prevented you from doing this in illinois?
Illinois does not offer plates for off-road titled vehicles.
its lame that these cant be street legal nation wide
Agreed
Dope
What about after dark in Tennessee with class 1 tag?
I have class one tag on my rzr but can’t find any info on it.
I don't believe there are any restrictions if you have working headlights and tailights.
There's absolutely no good reason why these aren't allowed on and highway at full legal speed limit they are 20 times safer than a motorcycle.
