    As most of you know we decided to purchase a new DRV MX450 toy hauler. Kyle Adams from DRV showed us around the factory and explained the process of how the DRV 5th wheels are made.

    Thank you so much for putting this tour on your channel. I’ve been looking at another high end coach builder and there are 3 things, that are important, that DRV does in their construction process that the other one doesn’t. I’m visiting my daughter (she’s in the Army) in Germany and as soon as I get back home to Florida I will be calling DRV to talk about exactly what I’m looking for. My new HDT is dying to pull something. Haha!! Thanks again.

    This video convinced me that I want a DRV instead of a Vanleigh Beacon. We went to the Vanleigh plant in Mississippi in Feb ‘20 on our way to Biltmore in NC and decided that’s what we wanted to full time in but this really has me wanting to go to Rolling Retreats in OK! I’ve already been on the RR website. I’ve watched the other DRV tours on TH-cam. I have a chance to purchase a DRV 36 RSS3B from a friend, but I’m rethinking the floor plan.

    Hey Jim & Kellie! Great tour of the DRV factory! I’ve always heard that you DON’T wanna go to an automobile factory and see how your selected future car/truck is built…as, you wouldn’t buy it. After watching Kyle’s tour I don’t think that holds true with THEIR products at DRV imo! Can’t wait to see the ‘surprise’ y’all mentioned towards the end of the video! As always, stay safe and God Bless!

    Great video. My wife and I are spending a lot of time looking at trailers. At this point it amazing how much junk is on the market. I expect our next move will be to a used DRV. The only real issue with the DRV coaches is the weight. So now were looking a replacing the truck as well as a trailer.... OUCH. We want to go to a HDT but here in Ontario Canada.... Insurance is a big issue. So far I have not been able to find a company to insure it. I can buy one and register it in the USA. But when I return to Ontario the law says I need to plate it here even though I can't get insurance here. Also getting full time trailer insurance does not fit in the mold of normal so the price goes through the roof here. Welcome to Canada eh !

      There are definitely manufacturing differences between the two manufacturers. It's all going to be personal choice on some of them and we decided on the DRV for a number of reasons. Hopefully someone else will chime in here, but we've been VERY happy with our current DRV and we're really looking forward to the new floorplan and changes they have coming. Just my suggestion when and if you guys buy another RV buy one with a residential Fridge. The gas/Eletric fridges are junk. Just removed a five year old dometic fridge for a friends RV and it destroyed all of the wood because the Fridge was sweating. Had to rebuild the floor and part of a wall.

  • @TipsyMarlinTravels

    What kind of insulation do they use? I saw the eco stuff, but what is on the walls or was that it. If so won't that just vibrate down the wall as you travel? I may have miss seeing it through the wall through.

    • @SuiteTravels
      @SuiteTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's the EcoBoost that they use in the walls. It's thicker than the stud thickness and gets sandwiched between the two sides as well as glued between the studs. We've never heard of anyone having issues with the wall insulation sliding.

      @@SuiteTravels. Oh, good to know. I’m in a 2010 MS and don’t think there’s any in my front.

    Are all their coaches RVIA rated?

    • @SuiteTravels
      @SuiteTravels  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No they're not Chip. Apparently RVIA won't allow a sticker if it's more than....hmmm - the size escapes me right now. But there is a maximum square footage that RVIA will sticker and if the coach is more than that they won't allow it on any manufacturer.

      But even though our larger units can not have the RVIA sticker, we still follow RVIA rules (except square footage)

    At the 21: mark end, Why won’t you pan over to what he’s showing on the side of the RV? You keep the camera glued on him speaking and not at what he’s pointing out?

    Every time I watch the intro I always wonder what would happen if whoever is driving the smart car onto the truck sneezed at the wrong moment 🤔

    Man do us a favor and cut the commercials off you have way too many commercials in your video thank you

    • @SuiteTravels

      Sorry Scott. We THOUGHT we had deleted them for all new videos but apparently not. It's a new thing with TH-cam and we have to physically go in and make the changes. Hopefully we've got it set now. Thanks for coming along and be blessed.

    Great video but you might mention to your tour guide the mask doesn't work unless he covers his nose with it also.

      Yep....we thought we could get through the video without one, but were told they were required. Thanks for watching.

    Why is his nose sticking out of that face mask? No sense in even wearing it if he isn’t going to wear it correctly.
