@@DansFish to use marine creates (brine shrimp, rotifers, etc) in freshwater environment looks me extremely not natural! I don't like this approach very much.
As a fellow hobbyist and VAKC member, I have been privileged to know Dave for many years and have visited his "every changing" fish rooms. He has been a credit to our hobby and has been a driving force behind our VAHS club. Our current board has recently acknowledged Dave, as well as two other long serving members, Mike Sloan and Bart VanDijk, by making them the first honorary lifetime members of the VAHS. Thanks for the tour, Ron...and to Dave..." keep em spawnin' "
I am very jealous of the Rasbora tank, it's stunning to see so many schooling around! I'm going to have to chat with Dave about his green water to daphnia method, I'd love to give it a try.
Awesome tour! Been a long time attendee of the VAHS auctions (was at the very first one) and Dave has been a longtime staple at the meetings and auctions. Hope to see another auction really soon. Always wanted to see Dave's fish room ever since he was featured in one of the club's newsletters back in the early days, going back nearly 30 years. Great job on the vid, and thanks for posting! Liked and subscribed.
Hold up.... He's breeding BLACK ghost knifes!!!!! Wow that's awesome and extremely rare ,I'm talking groundbreaking.... It has been done from what I've read but we need people publishing the process and documenting it for the future of the hobby?!!? Wow that's so awesome he's accomplished that
BEAUTIFUL TOUR .. LOVED IT...I hate to say this..but I had a hard time understanding hiis words. Could you mic up better next time...please don't take this the wrong way
Thanks for stoppiing by Ron, always happy to talk fish.
It was a real pleasure
Hey Dave you should try to breed Exodon Tetras. That would be a good challenge! Ive been unsuccessful thus far.
Excellent tour of Dave's fish room. Always enjoy learning from successful breeders.
I have not had this much fun on a fish room tour in a long time. It is great to see a master at work. Also, I am super jealous of his rotifers!
Awesome! We shot two videos. The second video on rotifers, it comes out this Friday 😁
Perfect...I can't wait

Yes, we had a long conversation about his green water daphnia. I’m freeing up a tank for some
Very beautiful and very nice

Nice video. Hi Dave!
Wow nice ambience.
Great video!!!!
Thanks Scott 😁
Nice and clean tanks Dave. Impressive :)
Does he has any TH-cam channel?
Great fish room.Did you say about having a de humidifier because it helps heat your room ? ...and obviously prevents moisture build up .
Just for preventing moisture. Not for heating the room
Nice room! Good vid!
Wow very beautifull guppies
Beautiful!
Very beautiful and nice Nice
Great fish room tour! How does he set up the brine shrimp hatchery in or on the tank? This would be ideal for my needs.
He puts the pop bottle in the tank with an air stone. So he doesn’t need an extra heater or light

Nah, thats not a crispus, leaves are way too big and wavy. Looks more like Aponogeton ulvaceus to me.
