The amount of people that don’t understand that all these ratings come from a website where people “rate your music” is baffling to me. I don’t care if you think “x is overrated” it’s not this guy’s opinion it’s based on thousands of other’s opinions it’s what the rating number is based off. This doesn’t mean your favorite album is “invalidated” it means that it’s probably either unheard of “low ratings” or people on the internet don’t like it. I think this is a solid list, the albums concluded are the very best representation of each genre. Remember art/music is subjective and the list is based on votes of thousands people, so if your favorite album is listed at a low spot it doesn’t discredit how great it is it’s still in the top 100. A lot of you Rock fans are not satisfied with the list even though more than 30% of it are Rock (almost every sub genre) albums, I don’t understand why you’re upset, and disrespecting other genres is pretty lame, every genre is special in its own unique style so you can’t compare them or say “this” is better than “that”. So, don’t start shi**ing on electronic music or Hip Hop just because you’re upset with “To Pimp a Butterfly” getting #1 spot, why not go listen to it first, maybe you’ll get why a lot of people love it and voted for it. that album specifically is liked more by Jazz, Soul, and Rock fans, as a matter of fact hip hop fans didn’t like that album at first but now it’s arguably the best hip hop album of all time and depending on who you’re talking to it maybe considered the best body of work in music history. It’s just opinions and debates, at the end of the day like what you like and don’t disrespect what others like.

Comparing this to the recent Apple Music "definitive" list lol There's never going to be a good "definitive" list, but these are fun to discover more music.
Bjork deserves two entries: one for Homogenic, and another for Vespertine. Radiohead does NOT deserve three entries among the very best (but Ok Computer surely does!). But, overall, it was still a solid list nonetheless.

What the hell does this comment mean
The amount of people that don’t understand that all these ratings come from a website where people “rate your music” is baffling to me. I don’t care if you think “x is overrated” it’s not this guy’s opinion it’s based on thousands of other’s opinions it’s what the rating number is based off. This doesn’t mean your favorite album is “invalidated” it means that it’s probably either unheard of “low ratings” or people on the internet don’t like it. Y’all don’t have to be babies just because your favorite artist isn’t in the top 1 or because recurring artist have multiple albums in the top spots it’s literally just a number.
TL;dr it’s literally just stats bro it’s not going to kill you 😂

correct, youtube is very restrict
