    I don’t see the kings improving the talent level that much this offseason. They should keep the pick and try to move up to get Cody Williams to get some length and help with the perimeter defense. Not sure the kings have much in the way of assets. They got a declining Harrison Barnes, Kevin huerter who is a fringe starter on a fringe playoff team, and davion who would be the only attractive player to a team looking to take a flyer on him for a cheap price. Continue improving the defense and get the offense back to what it was

    Teams in the west might offer Monk max money just to get him off the Kings.

      @@s0meguy09Why can’t teams offer him a max contract if they have the cap space? Nothing is stopping them besides the fact that he is not worth it. Every player has a different max btw. The kings can only offer him 4 years $78m because of the rules of the collective bargaining agreement but other teams can offer more.

      @@justmyopinion8395 you have to "re-sign" to get a 5 year deal. That's why mega stars like LeBron and KD sign for 2 year with a player option to a new team, then opt out and get a max the following season

    I would do a sign and trade with Monk and our pick to move up and get a stud.

    • @beaumcguire409
      @beaumcguire409 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That would require Monk to agree to the contract we offer him.
      Our biggest problem is not being able to offer Monk enough money.
      I like your thought process, but that’s not going to happen.

      😂😂😂😂 The most the kings can sign him for is 4 years $78m because they don’t have his full bird rights. The reason he is probably leaving is other teams can offer him more if they have the cap space. If he agreed to that contract why would they trade him?

    McNair ⌛️,I told you 42-46 win team that’s going to have to play-in .Sacramento fans got hoodwinked.Replace him and begin with a new GM who can position themselves with upside.

    • @justmyopinion8395
      @justmyopinion8395 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Replace the coach not the GM. Although McNair did bomb this trade deadline by doing nothing. However he was handcuffed by not having access to all their 1st round picks due protections on the pick owed to the Hawks. Besides Fox and Sabonis, their 1st rd picks are the only valuable assets they have in a trade. Everyone else either had neutral or negative trade value.

    Get rid of Harrison “inconsistent” Barnes

    • @justmyopinion8395
      @justmyopinion8395 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      How, to whom and for what? Other teams are not exactly foaming at the mouth to get a hold of him and his contract. He might even have negative trade value at this point where you have to attach an asset just to trade him. Should have never resigned him last off season.

    That made no sense Bobby, your basically saying that Boston is the nba son and they can do what they want. Boston has two players that is making over 200 million, make it make sense….

    • @johannm5168
      @johannm5168 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Because they have the bird rights of both JB and JT since they drafted them and they have been there for 3+ consecutive seasons. Same reason we’re able to sign Deaaron to a super max even tho it puts us over the cap. It makes sense, you just have to educate yourself with the NBA cap rules.

    • @johannm5168
      @johannm5168 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In comparison, even though we’re over the cap space, if Keegan warrants a max in a couple years, we’ll be able to give it to him even though we are over the cap limit.
      Likewise with Malik, he’s only been with us for 2 seasons so we only have his EARLY bird rights, meaning we can sign him up to 175% of his last contract which is 4/78m. We’re able to offer him this money even though we are over the cap due to his early bird rights.
      Hope this helps.

    • @justmyopinion8395
      @justmyopinion8395 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@johannm5168A lot of people know nothing about how the CBA works. Even if you try to explain it to them it just goes over their heads. Where McNair messed up was extending Sabonis last off season with Cap space instead of using it to bring in some help. He could have waited till this off season to go over the cap to resign Sabonis considering they had his full bird rights. Although that could have came from Vivek. Even though you can go over the cap, you still need an owner that is willing too. Now Vivek can cop out to the fans this off season and just say they have no cap space.
