I would definetly recommend doing a spirit box session similar to Detune (who's started doing some ghostie hunting recently) They have one person listen to headphones with the spiritbox going through those, and the people without headphones ask the questions. The person listening to the spiritbox will then just say out loud what they hear, this method tries to eliminate confirmation bias and keep answers/questions as fair and honest as possible! Think it would be totally up your alley since you're already so heckin honest it's so nice to see

The screech/scream audio y’all catch halfway through video sounds to be like a butcher’s saw to me. I used to spend my high school summers with family in Mexico, and we lived some houses down from the town butcher so I became really familiar with the sound of their table saw that they used to slice the frozen meat to sell. It was a super common everyday background noise whenever my cousins and I would be outside on our street playing. The sound though is frozen meat going through a table saw, specifically. Since we lived in a more rural area it was common to grow and eat your own livestock, so it was all very normalized for me. But meat goes bad quickly so a lot of meat was frozen to make it last. The butcher even offered to slice up peoples personal frozen meats for a small service fee, it was was a super common thing/sound. Yes I know the black dahlia wasn’t frozen but it just creeped me the hell out to hear that sound coming from a spirit box like eww 😩
FYI, Elizabeth was already cleanly sawed in half when she was discovered, and officials ruled that the offending weapon was very likely a butcher’s saw. Your description further confirmed that the audio they heard is directly related to her case!

Ok I know this video is about ghost hunting, and I have to say as a skeptic the spirit box thing was pretty creepy, but my main takeaway from this video is the way Anthony looks at Mykie. It’s so incredible to see someone look at their partner like they are the most incredible thing, with such awe and love on the face.
Elizabeth Short was an aspiring actress right? She wanted to become famous but unfortunately the fame wasn’t in the way she wanted as she’s known for her unsolved murder as The Black Dahlia. In a way the tarot reading was morbidly correct.

@Caelan Niece I also think that's what it meant when I saw it that's what I thought of not of her death because I think she might not have gotten a role she wanted or maybe was told she's not a good actress which would go with the tarot card that they got. Also, maybe her career was cut short. I mean, yes, it was, but in another way, not just her death being the cause of her not being a huge actress/ not having a huge career.

I’ve been reading few people mentioning the chills and also got them. Definitely weird!
You should do the Estes method with the spirit box. It’s when one person is blind folded and has the spirit box playing through headphones. You then have people ask questions to the person blindfolded. Essentially being blindfolded heightens your sense to hear, so it’s easier to make out the words. I watch Sam and Colby and they tend to do this a lot, and they get some interesting results.
What weirded me out the most was that there was that feminine scream and then the fresh cut smile was heard later on. My personal theory is that maybe the scream was elizabeth as she was being murdered, sort of like an echo from the past, and the fresh cut smile was her murderer. another possible theory is that whoever murdered the black dahlia had some sort of attachment or possession issue at the time of the murder, and whatever was in the room played a part. If that were true, I don't think it was the sole influencer, I think the murderer already had violent tendencies, but maybe the entity amplified strong parts of an individual's psyche. that would explain the lack of an answer whether the entity was good or bad, and the fact that it wasn't a ghost.
The thing that's freaky about the spirit box giving a weirdly specific answer is that it happened once before- at the Lizzie Bordon house. Same thing with the EMF. If these were one off incidents it wouldn't be so weird, but the more of these you do and the more weird things happen... it starts to add up and I swear I question my reality more and more with each ghost hunting episode.
Mykie and co. should go to Disney World/Disney Land to all of the rides where people have died/ashes have been spread/cast members have swore they saw ghosts at.
As much as I would absolutely love this I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen. It’d be too busy during their hours of operation and “the happiest place(s) on earth” aren’t too keen on the darker parts of their history so I don’t think they’d like to open their doors after hours for a video showcasing it. Not to mention the most recent Disneyland news, it would seem in poor taste/ trying to cash grab off a tragedy

And it is being even though I'm such an easy scared person! I don't watch any horror or whatsoever but I was so excited when you, Mykie, was back to TH-cam you don't even imagine. Thank you so mutch! When I watch your videos it is like to hang out with friends in a summer camp before go to bed and telling each other creepy stories about ghosts and queen of spades in the mirror. It is a very specific type of pleasure I'm missing about. I've moved to another country recently and despite it is a very good place to be in still have a cultural shock and anxiety because of that and your videos help me to get through of that or at least to get calm thought time to time. Official crime investigation systems are so focused on punishment, they cannot handle confessions after punishment is too late, and might even punish whomever delivers confessions and evidence so late. There's already a story of how a deathbed confession in the "D .B. Cooper" case was not officially worth believing, and they're currently trying to prosecute the foreigner who allegedly made the weapon in the Lockerbie disaster, long after the court case against the alleged main perpetrators, and the death of the alleged main instigator.

Hey Mykie!! I wanted to say hi and give some hunting tips! So first having fun and making jokes, laughter as well, is great for attracting energy to attract spirits. A spirits goal is to gather energy, so batteries dying or electrical interference is common where ghost activity is. A good way to get activity is to literally say hello. I know, I know, sounds weird but if you knock twice and say "Hello, my name is _____." Or "Hello, I'm ____, I'm here to talk with anyone here." Another thing, I was once at the queen Mary and I was with a skeptic, she and I stayed there for three nights. The first day my skeptic friend did not believe anything that happened was related to spirits. But the second night I had an evp recorder on me and her the entire investigation along with a camera. We checked the footage on all devices after we got home and heard crying on her recorder when we were in a room where a little girl had been seen. The woman’s scream in the spirit box sounds more like a train screeching to a stop to me, if you listen it sounds like galloping of horses, or the sound a train makes as it’s going over the wood panels
For the tarot cards, its very important to create a bubble of protection around yourself and set the intention/ask a question before you start. Shuffle as you think about that question and when you are interpreting, look at the card itself and see how you could interpret it before reading the description. Then at the end, close the session the same you do with a quija board. Bad energies can attache to the cards if you aren't careful. Generally the answers come from your guides and other spirits you are trying to connect with or whoever you are reading. Store them in a silk wrap with crystal that you are called to. Quartz and amethyst are great for keeping cards clean. Cleanse your space before and after and cleanse/charge the cards under the full moon when needed.
I stayed there last year because I knew of the history behind Disney using the inspiration of the lobby for their tower of terror designs, but I didn’t know about the black dahlia when I was assigned a room on the 10th floor. Being there did inspire me to learn more about her story and I’ve been enamored by LA horror ever since. There's an underground LA walking tour that goes to all the old abandoned speakeasy sites in the area. There's also a map of the speakeasies underneath one of the bars in the area, but it's disguised as like this fairytale mural (my favorite part). I'm very confident they won't let you film, but you guys would probably love the tour if they're still doing them. It's a gross and grungy tour, but I think that's what's cool about it. The Biltmore is like the last stop on the tour, though they don't go into the speakeasy part of the Biltmore. I work the Labyrinth masquerade there every year and last time we stayed on the 10th floor. Only thing that happened to us was the toilet very randomly flooded. XD Nothing paranormal ever happens to me and I'm not easily spooked, so I appreciate the skeptical nature to your videos.
OH I slept at the Biltmore once! I definitely felt like there was a ghost trying to bully me, but I needed to wake up early for work so I sort of told it to fuuck off with my mind haha

I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks in September for a business trip ! Didn't experience anything spooky, and I even stayed on the 9th floor which is supposedly haunted by a little girl.
Next time you should try the “jumping cards” technique with tarot. You take a few minutes to hold the cards and talk to the energy( ghost, demon whatever else) then you flip through the cards until you either feel the compulsion to stop or a card flies out. I used to have lunch there and hanging there during my lunch breaks. I worked Downtown for many years. One day I was in the bathroom and in the mirror, I can see a lady with a full head of black hair... I turned around... there was no lady with black hair... It really got me weirded out though. At the time, I never heard of the Black Dhalia... I immediately went to go look up hauntings of the Biltmore... It was Elizabeth Short... the Black Dhalia. I never saw any other occurrences like that but I had heard strange clusters of voices like a big group of people in the hallway (on the second floor) where they have a long hallway of pictures from the previous past. I just thought it was the people around the corner or near... After the experience with the Black Dhalia...now I am not so sure.

I was rewatching one of Mykie's Queen Mary videos after this one on my TV, and I heard a crunch behind me and to the left, and I'm alone except my sleeping boyfriend in the other room. I convinced myself it was just a squirrel, and then a few minutes later, I heard it again, looked out the window behind me, and saw something indistinguishable running past the wndow and down my porch steps. I could tell it wasn't human unless they were 3 feet tall, but it was too big to be one of the neighborhood cats, so I'm thoroughly too spooked to investigate and too spooked to continue watching youtube videos on my tv...

I'm also a sceptic of the supernatural even though I've experienced a few truly confounding things and maybe even a direct sighting but the one place that I really felt something off was in was the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. It's the hotel that inspired the Shining and is where the severely underrated miniseries was filmed. It just has such a spooky vibe that's so similar to this with some truly strange stories, photos and coincidences, and a friend and I got shocked super strongly at the same time in different rooms. We didn't stay overnight, because it's expensive, but I eventually want to stay overnight with an EMF meter cause I'm convinced something's up with that place.

I have the same tarot cards they were using in this video and since she said she was a noob at them I’d like to throw a bit of advice out there: I wouldn’t recommend that specific deck for beginners. It is GORGEOUS and feel free to get it for yourself and your collection, however- a lot of tarot is interpreting meaning in the imagery and since a lot of these cards are more “simplistic” it could be hard to find imagery to interpret from for the beginners! I’d recommend cards with more detail while starting out but this is all just my opinion and of course everyone can follow whatever path they choose 🥰💖

The screech/scream audio y’all catch halfway through video sounds to be like a butcher’s saw to me. I used to spend my high school summers with family in Mexico, and we lived some houses down from the town butcher so I became really familiar with the sound of their table saw that they used to slice the frozen meat to sell. It was a super common everyday background noise whenever my cousins and I would be outside on our street playing.
The sound though is frozen meat going through a table saw, specifically. Since we lived in a more rural area it was common to grow and eat your own livestock, so it was all very normalized for me. But meat goes bad quickly so a lot of meat was frozen to make it last. The butcher even offered to slice up peoples personal frozen meats for a small service fee, it was was a super common thing/sound.
Yes I know the black dahlia wasn’t frozen but it just creeped me the hell out to hear that sound coming from a spirit box like eww 😩
FYI, Elizabeth was already cleanly sawed in half when she was discovered, and officials ruled that the offending weapon was very likely a butcher’s saw. Your description further confirmed that the audio they heard is directly related to her case!

Ok I know this video is about ghost hunting, and I have to say as a skeptic the spirit box thing was pretty creepy, but my main takeaway from this video is the way Anthony looks at Mykie. It’s so incredible to see someone look at their partner like they are the most incredible thing, with such awe and love on the face.
Elizabeth Short was an aspiring actress right? She wanted to become famous but unfortunately the fame wasn’t in the way she wanted as she’s known for her unsolved murder as The Black Dahlia. In a way the tarot reading was morbidly correct.

You should do the Estes method with the spirit box. It’s when one person is blind folded and has the spirit box playing through headphones. You then have people ask questions to the person blindfolded. Essentially being blindfolded heightens your sense to hear, so it’s easier to make out the words. I watch Sam and Colby and they tend to do this a lot, and they get some interesting results.

What weirded me out the most was that there was that feminine scream and then the fresh cut smile was heard later on. My personal theory is that maybe the scream was elizabeth as she was being murdered, sort of like an echo from the past, and the fresh cut smile was her murderer.
another possible theory is that whoever murdered the black dahlia had some sort of attachment or possession issue at the time of the murder, and whatever was in the room played a part. If that were true, I don't think it was the sole influencer, I think the murderer already had violent tendencies, but maybe the entity amplified strong parts of an individual's psyche. that would explain the lack of an answer whether the entity was good or bad, and the fact that it wasn't a ghost.
It might also better explain "kiss me" in Spanish.

The thing that's freaky about the spirit box giving a weirdly specific answer is that it happened once before- at the Lizzie Bordon house. Same thing with the EMF. If these were one off incidents it wouldn't be so weird, but the more of these you do and the more weird things happen... it starts to add up and I swear I question my reality more and more with each ghost hunting episode.

As much as I would absolutely love this I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen. It’d be too busy during their hours of operation and “the happiest place(s) on earth” aren’t too keen on the darker parts of their history so I don’t think they’d like to open their doors after hours for a video showcasing it. Hey Mykie!! I wanted to say hi and give some hunting tips! So first having fun and making jokes, laughter as well, is great for attracting energy to attract spirits. A spirits goal is to gather energy, so batteries dying or electrical interference is common where ghost activity is. A good way to get activity is to literally say hello. I know, I know, sounds weird but if you knock twice and say "Hello, my name is _____." Or "Hello, I'm ____, I'm here to talk with anyone here." Another thing, I was once at the queen Mary and I was with a skeptic, she and I stayed there for three nights. The first day my skeptic friend did not believe anything that happened was related to spirits. But the second night I had an evp recorder on me and her the entire investigation along with a camera. We checked the footage on all devices after we got home and heard crying on her recorder when we were in a room where a little girl had been seen. In that same room we heard her answer questions on the recorder but not on the camera. But anyway! I love your ghostie videos, keep up the great work and amazing content!!!

Ok but the EMF and the brand new cut smile made me go "?!". So far this, Chateau Marmont and Lizzie Borden house have given me actual chills.
For the tarot cards, its very important to create a bubble of protection around yourself and set the intention/ask a question before you start. Shuffle as you think about that question and when you are interpreting, look at the card itself and see how you could interpret it before reading the description. Then at the end, close the session the same you do with a quija board. Bad energies can attache to the cards if you aren't careful. Generally the answers come from your guides and other spirits you are trying to connect with or whoever you are reading. Store them in a silk wrap with crystal that you are called to. Quartz and amethyst are great for keeping cards clean.
Cleanse your space before and after and cleanse/charge the cards under the full moon when needed.
I stayed there last year because I knew of the history behind Disney using the inspiration of the lobby for their tower of terror designs, but I didn’t know about the black dahlia when I was assigned a room on the 10th floor. Being there did inspire me to learn more about her story and I’ve been enamored by LA horror ever since. Glad you covered this one 🙌🤩 can’t say I experienced any activity myself, or not…..I’d have to think back on my time. I had one of the older, less modernized rooms. Felt like I traveled back in time.

There's an underground LA walking tour that goes to all the old abandoned speakeasy sites in the area. There's also a map of the speakeasies underneath one of the bars in the area, but it's disguised as like this fairytale mural (my favorite part). I'm very confident they won't let you film, but you guys would probably love the tour if they're still doing them. It's a gross and grungy tour, but I think that's what's cool about it. The Biltmore is like the last stop on the tour, though they don't go into the speakeasy part of the Biltmore.
I work the Labyrinth masquerade there every year and last time we stayed on the 10th floor. Only thing that happened to us was the toilet very randomly flooded. XD Nothing paranormal ever happens to me and I'm not easily spooked, so I appreciate the skeptical nature to your videos.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks in September for a business trip ! Didn't experience anything spooky, and I even stayed on the 9th floor which is supposedly haunted by a little girl.
Next time you should try the “jumping cards” technique with tarot. You take a few minutes to hold the cards and talk to the energy( ghost, demon whatever else) then you flip through the cards until you either feel the compulsion to stop or a card flies out. I used to have lunch there and hanging there during my lunch breaks. I worked Downtown for many years. One day I was in the bathroom and in the mirror, I can see a lady with a full head of black hair... I turned around... there was no lady with black hair... It really got me weirded out though. At the time, I never heard of the Black Dhalia... I immediately went to go look up hauntings of the Biltmore... It was Elizabeth Short... the Black Dhalia. I never saw any other occurrences like that but I had heard strange clusters of voices like a big group of people in the hallway (on the second floor) where they have a long hallway of pictures from the previous past. I just thought it was the people around the corner or near... After the experience with the Black Dhalia...now I am not so sure.

I convinced myself it was just a squirrel, and then a few minutes later, I heard it again, looked out the window behind me, and saw something indistinguishable running past the wndow and down my porch steps. I could tell it wasn't human unless they were 3 feet tall, but it was too big to be one of the neighborhood cats, so I'm thoroughly too spooked to investigate and too spooked to continue watching youtube videos on my tv...

I'm also a sceptic of the supernatural even though I've experienced a few truly confounding things and maybe even a direct sighting but the one place that I really felt something off was in was the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. It's the hotel that inspired the Shining and is where the severely underrated miniseries was filmed. It just has such a spooky vibe that's so similar to this with some truly strange stories, photos and coincidences, and a friend and I got shocked super strongly at the same time in different rooms. We didn't stay overnight, because it's expensive, but I eventually want to stay overnight with an EMF meter cause I'm convinced something's up with that place.

I have the same tarot cards they were using in this video and since she said she was a noob at them I’d like to throw a bit of advice out there: I wouldn’t recommend that specific deck for beginners. It is GORGEOUS and feel free to get it for yourself and your collection, however- a lot of tarot is interpreting meaning in the imagery and since a lot of these cards are more “simplistic” it could be hard to find imagery to interpret from for the beginners! I’d recommend cards with more detail while starting out but this is all just my opinion and of course everyone can follow whatever path they choose 🥰💖
