I just wish that martin and ian would work together .for atleast one more time.john.c.
This is a Priceless piece of history that I never knew existed this should be remastered and put into the Museum or Hall of Records or something like that to be preserved forever
I hear you. Yeah the funny thing is, when the World Wide Web was very young and fresh, a lot of these luminaries were quite sharing on their website, before they learned to shut up again. :-) Oh those glorious days before Social Media.
Also I must have another Anderson-audio-track from that time of similar length. I should post it as well maybe.
@@AlesPickar that would be great I'll look forward to it
@@mikecummings6593 Just uploading it in 2 parts right now.
Only a grounded, humble, easy going guy like Martin could last as egotistical Ian Anderson’s guitar player. Ian loves to pontificate and hear himself talk.... but Ian was not the only reason Tull was a great band...so thank you Martin for the beautiful music you contributed. Ian must have a high IQ because he retains knowledge of the trivial like weather from decades earlier as well as the meals he ate ..which I am sure he thinks impresses us all.
I hear you. You are not wrong. I assume that's the reason why Ian gives a lot of interviews to all kind of TH-cam guys, because unexperienced interviewers don't know how to interrupt him, so he can give his 15-minutes answers to the simplest questions. :-)
I know I'm impressed--how about Martin recalling the MC5?? GREAT stuff in any case...thanks!!
I think you've got the wrong impression of Ian or I shouldn't say the wrong impression because that's all relative to the person but I think you were a little too critical on mr. Anderson
This interview was made available on double cassette via a new day magazine
I didn't know that. Thanks.
This is so cool I love Ian and Martin but I've never heard them just having a back and forth conversation before. I hope they are still on good terms today. from what I've heard from recent interviews with Ian, they don't really talk much anymore.
Thanks a lot. I have one more of these recordings with Ian alone I think. I already promised to upload it as well. Hope soon...
Is this from the cassette release?
No, this was on a very early version of the JTull-website and has (as expected) disappeared after a while. Which is pity, so I was glad I made a copy back in the day.
Heavy horses not referenced ?
Only a little at 51:00 actually, but I think Ian misspoke and called it "Songs From The Wood", but he meant "Horses".
Nonsence
