Grubby betrayed us in the same way as saucegod does. Pretend to be a formal proplayer, but actually is the best sarcastic narrator of everything. Finding the words to illustrate a storyline behind this bronze improvisation theater is his real dedication. Combining this with his hairstyle, smile and sparkeling eyes of an evil professor is the best i could imagine on a satturday evening
By sacrificing an army into the Ud expansion, Saucegod trained his opponent to value the gold most of all, and to accept pulling all his ghouls as a viable defensive strategy. In truth, it was a beautifully calculated strike on Undeads secondary economy. Like all genius artists, Saucegod even left a cipher: the lumbermill at the expansion. Was it sidelined, by the trees? No. It was central to the expansion. Lumber is *central*, he is telling his opponent. Lumber is the key.
The way you roast the poor bronze players in the most politely way 😂 It holds even more value because you seem like a genuinely good guy so every time you laugh we know it's genuine 😁
I keep remembering Grubby screaming FEDORMINATOR NOOOOO from one of the previous videos where he desperately burned two sacrificial daggers mid combat to heal his DK and then accidentally killed a far seer
I think the thing that makes my eye twitch the most in bronze league heroes is the lack of focus fire or target prio on low hp units. The amount of damage uptime 1hp units get sometimes is wild haha. Don't tell me they're busy macroing either! I'm so glad this series stuck around though, somehow I get more invested in these games than pro matches! I love that we're seeing familiar names pop up too, I'm going to have to start a favorite bronze players roster
13:25 - "sometimes the small successfully intimidate the big" the goose phenomenon (people get successfully spooked by geese, who are frail little birds with hollow bones that can barely even survive a nice kick, while only being able to offer a bite weaker than a wasp sting in retaliation)
About using "fool proof" abilities when you're a beginner: If you want to win the current game you're playing, probably a safe bet to go for the fool proof ability. But you should still try new things or your skill-level will stagnate because you never invest into increasing your skill level with harder things
Welcome to Bronze League, Episode 22 boys. Thumps up if you watched every single Episode! Grubby/Editor, we would love to see the best of commentary/plays/recaps from Bronze League. Maybe every 10 Episodes, 50? Idk, recaps/some sick edits would be cool!
15:29 Well, if they were fools they wouldn't be able to play these skills, cause they're foolproof. So, by definition, they can't be fools. 17:43 Okay, M. Bison.
Hey Grub, at which times do you usually stream these? Silver-Boy myself, but would like to increase my chances maybe to get on stream?! thanks, awesome content as always

@24:30 the tried and true method of saving 3000 🙂. Nothing like fundamental game winning strategies.
Hey Grub, I'm not taking credit of this idea as I heard it from someone else, but how about setting up a small Bronze Heroes tournament? 8 or 4 players. Would be fun! GGs
@@steak5599 match history can be looked at and each match can be replayed so grubby can remove those players that are doing the same thing as the previous undead player did where he unsummon all the buildings to lower his mmr.
Grubby, I loved insights about staying behind as orc and going kodo vs raider. What about things you can do as UD when behind? When I’m behind I’m just playing the usual - can’t seem to find an effective way to deviate… Any chance to cover that in a video? Grubby Talks? How to get back to the game when behind from each race POV. ❤
To be fair, if there was a dwarf only faction, I would pick that. But as human has the dwarfs I tend to pick human...but I completly agree, humans in a fantasy world is quick basic Lich and I understand your point lol
Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum (Wormtongue) has some part to play in it, for good or evil, before this is over.
Grubby, Saruman was beyond the authority of Gandalf tor any other mortal to kill. He was a Maia, and thus his judgement should have been at the hands of the Valar, I don't think Gandalf would have allowed anyone to kill a Maia if he could help it.
I mean it’s so Grubby to explicitly reject the review request on the game Galiogabalus picked, but instead of doing nothing, cast a game by him indeed, but on a game that Grubby picked. I bet Grubby must feel mischievous about it😂
12:55 ish, 2meter = 6feet (it's the only meters to feet that i know immediately that is a flat # on both sides) 1 meter 60cm? 1.6 meter is 5'25 (so if we're nice its 5'3 an ULTRA short dude lol. that's girl height OR extremely old person height)
ah the "short king" had the misnomer "Napoleon Complex" which is a misnomer because Napoleon from the French Conquest was technically taller than the average man during the time. Never understood why that became a nickname for short-man-short-fuse complex
All Raiders lose to all Grunts. So build more grunts, no raiders. Raiders are must have for sieges, how ever if you're stuck in base defending and behind in troops, raiders is kinda throwing unless you micro 2 groups. 2-4 raiders to perma net heros as your grunts go in, or you use them to harass the base with pillage when you defend.
I always wonder why low MMR players even bother with Raiders, they are VERY VERY hard to use and pretty weak in a head on Fight. Tauren would be a better Melee unit, depite Grubby rated them as D tier.
IDK Grubby is like casting these games and talk about their decisions and strategy, sometimes teasing them being bad. But people in bronze might more focus on just having fun and do things they want to do than winning. Like they might place their building their way just because it looks cool. But Grubby seems never appreciate their aesthetic. Just my opinion.

"Grubby, have you lost your mind?!"
I think sarcastic is not exactly the right word
Not unlike WinterStarcraft

lol, brilliant

@@ReadingAdam highly likely if we think these are the people who just opened up the game and started playing without watching any beginner guides.

@17:05 "If you are a basic lich you´re gonna basic" lmao
I completely lost it at the lumber mill. Held it in until Grubby's contagious laughter.
thank you for posting this videos, I played Warcraft 3 20 years ago, but I consider to play again, becuse of your content

I love WC3, but I never bothered with the vanilla game, and just dabbled in custom maps, I might just learn an RTS game like WC3 lol

The lumber denial strategy via extreme pressure
Does the creep tactic of focusing slowed units also work if you creepjack somebody with a slowing effect (Sorceresses, Dryads, Frost Arrow, etc.)?
Hey! I visited the Netherlands last year and I visited Utrecht! Lovely country.

does the BM mirror image still do damage nowadays?
So saucegod is cookin his another mysterious recipe huh?
I suspect this is actually Happy vs Tod playing on their weekend accounts...
Another upload! What a blessing! ❤
Okay, I'm saying it.
We need a bronze strategies tier list.
This makes me want to play more, cause I feel less shame at being bad even if i was decent 20 years ago. haha
pretty funny match here!
Gelio is a nice guy, let's him cook
also i still have no idea how to play the wc3 you're displaying (wc3 champions) it looks so different than my wc3 reforged?
what do i do...
Grubby can you do a challenge where you try and remove every tree from the map thanks
I used to try and do this as an 8 year old child for some reason
Already did something similar, eating every trees in enemy base so he couldn't mine any lumber ^^
