I’m just now beginning to appreciate that I got to see an historic feat when Madison Baumgardner single handedly destroyed the Royals in the 2014 WS. Losing to greatness didn’t make that sting any less.
If it makes you feel any better, going 19 years between Super Bowl wins is nothing. Us Chiefs fans had to wait 50 between our win in SB 4 and when we finally won again with SB 54, at one point going over 20 years without winning a single playoff game. We're just making up for lost time is all. And things will get better for the 49ers and the rest of the NFL. Mahomes will probably call in a career in another 10 to 15 years, your odds will greatly improve after that. One thing though, even mentioning the possibility of the game being fixed is just silly. All you need to see to know it wasn't fixed for the Chiefs is the holding call in the first possession of OT when the Chiefs knocked down a pass on 3rd and 13 from the 49ers 22. The easiest way to fix the game would be to "miss" that call and force San Fran to either punt and give Mahomes decent field position or take a chance on turning the ball over with the Chiefs already in field goal range. Holding calls like that gets missed all the time, so it would have been an easy way to hand KC the win.
YESSIR W CHIEFS, I will say this, as a Chiefs fan, I respect the humble 49ers fans, ya'll deserved the game more than us, you played more like you wanted it through most of the game, but as Chiefs always do we come back, and to the cocky 49ers fans, NEVER say Mahomes is washed up and trash, and NEVER say the Chiefs are done, everyone underestimated us and we win. But to the 49ers fans that respect both teams, Gg ya'll, it was a good match, even if the Chiefs lost, still Gg.
It was a good show for all of us. Rough conclusion for us 49ers fans. We still have 5 super bowls rings from like 30 years ago hang our hats on. What you have with the chiefs and patty mahomes is what we have with stephen curry and the golden state warriors obviously two different sports but they both are hall of famers that will always get hate and be doubted on when they win. We have dealt with some heart breaking loses here in the bay area with our sports teams we will get over it. More importantly thank you for watching the video appreciate it.

49rs played a great game, could have easily gone their way. I'm impressed by the 49rs fan base. They seem more respectable etc than many other fan bases. I'm a Chiefs fan and am enjoying this run after decades of subpar teams, but I feel the pain of fans on the other side of the Chiefs wins. Been there. If the Chiefs are not involved, I'll be pulling for this team and fan base.
