I hope PJ continues to blossom as the 3rd guy able to consistently give you 20-25 and able to give you team leading games like these last 2. Looking forward to see how he performs game 4.

He simply wasn't asked to take 23 shots before Luka got injured but now is his chance and he's proving he can absolutely be that guy. If he can keep this up, he will be a maverick for a long time and become a star himself.

I have a feeling Mark is going to adjust for PJ to reduce the number of open threes or size mismatches for easy post ups he was getting the last 2 games, because PJ is clearly proving he can punish OKC for not covering him properly.

This is the first time PJ has ever been asked to play this much offense and hes delivering above expectations. If he keeps this up, he will become a star for a long time. Imagine if Luka gets healthy and drops 35 while PJ is dropping 25 each night with Kyrie. We would be looking at serious contenders for many years to come, especially after we get bench depth this off season. I'm so glad the coach is seeing his usefulness and giving him shots, this is best case scenario with an injured Luka.

I love seeing players go from being in bad situations/teams or poor fit and then coming to a competitive winning environment and findings big ways to contribute. It's a reminder for when you're feeling down or that you don't belong somewhere, that you need to find the right environment and to fight the right battles and not give up on yourself.

love how this guy handles the questions. i hope and pray he would continue to play like that this whole playoffs and even next season. mavs needed them to contribute big time to ease the pressure on ky and luka. especially luka who was so banged up. having him rest a bit during their offense sometimes will make a lot of difference.
