Thank you! The baffling beast stories are the best. I still remember that story about the underground subway monsters and how the commissioner was turning into one of them. That was scary.
I listen to horrorbabble every night before going to sleep and last night I decided to try to sleep without listening to anything and my bf asked me if I wouldn't turn on "you fool Warren is dead". He doesn't know the name of the channel lmao
This is a tidy little collection of tales about things which compose our nightmares or make us pass a glance over our shoulder in the dead of night or traveling on a lonely road. Many thanks, Ian.
About 5 years ago we read Shredni Vashtar in an English class at my secondary school, we read it as part of a scheme to get young folks exposed to different kinds of writing and never touched on it again. And it's stuck with me all that time, I keep going back to it and thinking about it. Brilliant story, wonderful narration. Thank you for that :) Your selections are always so inspired, I really love this channel
Warning Wings is one of the most unusual, moving, and beautiful stories I've heard yet on Horrorbabble. Once again, your narration has elevated an already wonderful tale.
Well Ian, as it turns out I happen to be free for the next 6 hours and 39 minutes. How did you know? Have you been watching me? Wait, whats that? Warren, my god! Nooooooooooooooooo
Thanks so much for your wonderful work! Normally I comment only after listening to the entire video but in this case I must pause to commend you on the wonderful "Warning Wings"! I'd never heard it but it's a beautiful, oddly moving story. Very often I'll check out the work here and then head over to Band Camp to buy the recording, and I suppose HB on Patreon. Your beautiful recordings have been a 'North Star' for me for many years and provided me untold hours of enjoyment. Thanks again for all you do! ⚰🦇👏
I've never really been into the "weird creature" horror as much as other types; however, with 15 HB stories, there's bound to be a few that will cause me to reconsider.
In his later years, Lovecraft was extremely ashamed of his previous racist views in his older stories. Honestly, The Hyena should’ve made him feel better about even his worst stuff. Yeeesh 😵💫😵💫 But man, this compilation was incredible!!!
I found "Rats" difficult to listen, the last few minutes left wondering how Webster was able to write nor Mr. Gordon to read. Forget Warren, that poor little Hector and mother ugly way to die.
This is a brilliant compilation, one that has several shorts I haven’t heard before, so I feel excited! The collection is so varied in writing styles it feels eclectic, even though exceptionally curated . Many thanks! I would love to buy you dinner for that, but as it is currently, I will affectionately add “Dinner for Ian & Jen @ HORROR BABBLE” to my UNIVERSAL BANK ACCOUNT. Thank you so much for all you do & your generosity of sharing knowing that not everyone who listens can actualize a monetary thank you as much as they would like to do so. Horror Babble existing on YT makes the world a much better place & helps all of your listeners exercise the personal/collective archetypal imagination transmitters. I am a grateful fan! 🎉🧵🪡🕸️🐛🦋.🎏.🪄🪆,🎁🪞,🗝️🚪, 🩻, 🕳️🐇-🪽🧠👁️!📖🍄🐚🌌. Thank you both, again❣️🖤

Yet again we owe HorrorBabble our thanks for these fabulous uploads.
Thank you HorrorBabble 🎉
I'm tucking in for the next 6+ hours with Ian, tea and rain
Wow I envy your life on the road, what solitude,to enjoy HB

Am I a fool because Warren is dead? Or is warren dead because I am a fool?
Just don't answer that call...
Warren is dead, he just doesn't know it yet.
You're a fool to think it's possible that Warren could have survived.
I guess he could always go down there and look...just follow the wire......
I had no idea all along what that was about.....until I JUST got to the end of reading that story!
Ben in Devon here. Listening to audiobooks and short stories, especially from yourselves, has kept me calm at night for several years now. Thankyou😊
Well done Mr.Gordon and Horror Babble. Excellent, as always. Thank you. Until next time.

Agree 100%
Right on, creature stories are my fav. There's even a couple in here that I don't think I've listened to before.
Were All fools for thinking warren even had a snowballs chance in hell
🤣🤣🤣
“Warning Wings” is one of my favourite tales on Horror Babble: original, clever & touching….wonderful ❤
Great collection Ian and a ghastly treat!

Thank you, Lee!

i learned S.O.S. in moore's code from a movie. felt real cool to recognize it in the first story
Been waiting for this one! All my favorite x files episodes were the monster of the week ones
This is a fantastic release❤
Thank you Horrorbabble!

Excellent! Thank you!
You know you've been on the internet too long when the letters ABO trigger a fight or flight response

Horror in the Museum has always been one of my personal favorites
Thank you! 😊
Warren would be proud!😈
Thanks for these *Ian* & *Jennifer* 👍 ... btw, I like frogs they eat w/ their eyes; yes, they *eat w/ their eyes* 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸

Ditto!
My father the cat made me tear up, so heart breaking

Thanks, both of you. That big moth is scary to me...yeesh
Nice hit list!
It's not my fault Warren is dead- totally yours!
The artwork for mother of toads is excellent. Who did it?
All images were produced in MS Designer and Photoshop.
Can't beat the babble beasties
Thank you ❤
Here we Go😁😁😁😁
Booyaa 1000th like! 👍🏼
Great stories. The story They could have been developed into a longer tale. It reminds me of Arthur Machen. The Shining Pyramid I believe.
Thank you thank you we are not worthy 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🏴
While I can typically follow the timless existential horrors of cthulhu.... can some please explain "my father the cat" because I'm so confused 😅😅
Did this narrator once narrate a Triumph Rocket III video a long time ago?
In a former life possibly!
The pole cat ferret God is probably my favorite ❤

But man, this compilation was incredible!!!
I thought it was because I was engaged to him, briefly, or maybe because I broke it off. I can never tell. There's no way to know! 😮
1:28:51 I can't believe TH-cam let you say that!
I found "Rats" difficult to listen, the last few minutes left wondering how Webster was able to write nor Mr. Gordon to read. Forget Warren, that poor little Hector and mother ugly way to die.
