Anybody else besides me wish that soaps would go back to having closing themes and credits, instead of the "squashed" credits they have now? Job well done, my friend
OMG This Theme was always one of my personal favs. When I was a little kid, my 2 older sisters were watching Y&R ( my introduction to soaps ),a nd I fell for this medley right away and even then and even now brings tears to my eyes. A great beautiful awesome theme. I even remember the original Jill, Jamie Lynn Bauer OMG. LOL
This reminds me of Season Five of the 1980s Australian jailhouse soap opera, Prisoner, in July 1983, when in episode 383, Dr Scott Collins arrives at the Wentworth Detention Centre.
I miss these closings as well especially if you put this closing next to one from the mid 70a and hear the make voice it's surprising how it's been the same person for more than 30 years
The original actress who played Jill was Brenda Dickson. She created the role. Then, Deborah Adair and now Jess Walton who has played role now for 20 years.

I miss Y & R's closing credits. Especially the male voiceover. Classic
