It was great seeing the Baby Ducks back in this episode helping out Mordecai and Rigby. The transformation gave me Voltron vibes. Also, I love the ending where the Ducks’ mother yelled at Benson. I mean, Benson clearly had this coming. Nobody yells at a mother’s ducklings. And She does have a point. Mordecai and Rigby did save the park from those evil geese. Plus, he did tell them to get rid of the geese, and that’s exactly what they did.
Agreed, Benson also has a poor way of showing gratitude. Benson always threatens to fire Mordecai and Rigby every time he gives them a job, and every time Mordecai and Rigby finish a job, even if nothing goes wrong, Benson always just gives them a new one and threatens to fire them all over again. Benson never says "thank you" or "good job" or anything, so he DEFINITELY deserved to get chewed out by a duck.
I know the feeling of having a show being the only thing to cheer you up after the hell that school and other things bring which makes me love and appreciate regular show all the more as it’s the only thing that could cheer me up
When you think about it mordecai and rigby could’ve sued benson as he intentionally put their lives in danger and that wasn’t a part of their job which makes it illegal so the ending is one of the best ever
Agreed, if I was in that situation, and I was THAT close to getting severely injured or killed, I would've just quit the job without second thought, and even threaten Benson that I would call the cops on him.
One problem. They got no money to hire a lawyer and they have no skills representing themselves in court. Remember how badly it went for them in cool court? And they even had representation. So they can’t really afford to sue because the damages alone they do the Park on a daily basis kind of amounts to more than they could get.
The episode with the geese was my very first time watching the show. It was absolute insanity and without the context of the baby duck episode, it had me laughing the entire time.
