All Polynesian dance tells a story. It also tells stories of our beginning, creation…tells our history. Our love. Our pain. Before written history there was our dance and music.

@kingfamilyreacts He did a great job remaking this. I love this song. the women are dancing whats called an aparima from Tahiti, and the song is from the tuamotu group, i believe. the story of a man who dreams of a beautiful woman. then he sees children running and playing . he then remember of his home and he misses it. it's basicly a song of yearning of home and that he'll never forget where he came from. it also reminds us that whereever we go, to never forget where we and our ancestors came from.

Yes, Aparima is a beautiful dance, the motions expresses the story, hula is similar beautiful and very graceful. It’s hula In Action poetry in motion. Every song tells a story and we express it with our inner feeling and use our eyes to express our feelings of the story . A good dancer will make you cry just watching and capturing you in her motions. She does not look for attention the attention finds her. That’s when you know there good. Love watching your expressions

Beautiful dancing. Mellow relaxing vibes. Not sure what you mean by they don't have anything like that here. If you are talking about cultural dances created in the Americas, I went to a Pow Wow as part of the Days Of 47 Pioneers Day celebrations. As for European dances, all of my older siblings were in an international dance company when they were kids, with dances from all over Europe. And I have seen local dance companies that do dancing style from various other parts of the world.
