I recognize all those stops. The rig looks sweet! A lot of enclosed trailer people put in a small door on the side to fuel the mowers. It’s great that your equipment is inside and out of the Sun. The UV rays fade the plastic on my small equipment quickly on the open trailer. I bought covers, which helped but lots of extra hassle to keep things covered.
That’s awesome you recognize these stops! Thank you for the compliment we feel so blessed to have this rig! I’ve seen those small side doors and wondered what they were for, now I know thank you. We are gonna put our 100 gallon transfer tank back on the truck and use it for fueling the machines this year. We have been wanting to do that for a little while now and the enclosed trailer really gave it a push in priority because I don’t want to be carrying a gas can inside the trailer lol. It definitely helps prevent sun damage and fade. All of our equipment looks older than it really is because of being exposed to the elements all the time and this will greatly help with new equipment keeping it’s “new look” I can see what you mean about the covers
Well done on the embroidered shirts. Really adds a touch of professionalism. As you use your trailer, you will figure out where to mount and store things so you can "grab and go" from different areas of the trailer. Nice thing about enclosed trailer is that you can leave mowers stored when it rains, or even just have them locked up when needed. Strapping down is a real pain, but it does save your hydros and parking brake while you drive.
Thank you so much we really do enjoy the new shirts and wanted to look more professional! Thank you for the tips on strapping the trailers to prevent damage. I’ve already noticed a huge difference in being able to keep the equipment locked up inside the trailer ready to go rather than having to load and unload the equipment every day. We can’t wait to make more videos for y’all and we hope you really enjoy this year’s mowing season!
Hey Harley And laci Glad you are able to start the24 season off up hear in Indiana Professional mowing people are behind on their accounts because of the rain. Your enclosed trailer You can also Use it to get out of the rain.
Thank you so much! Hopefully they can catch up soon. It rains a lot here during the mowing season and sometime it causes delays too. That is another great thing about the trailer a place to stay dry from the rain! Thanks for the tips!
Great to see you back mowing guys, it's a great time of year and I can see how happy you both are to be back mowing!! Looks like you got a nice day to start back! It still feels surreal that I've been to where you work but I live on the other side of the world! I'm so glad I did, you really do get to live and work in such a beautiful location. I definitely understand the pros and cons of changing trailers but I think the pros definitely out do the cons and if you put the fuel tank on the back of the truck, that would be a great idea! Having all your equipment undercover and always locked up and ready to go for the next day, definitely is better for sure. You guys will get get in a groove of how to best use the trailer and I'm sure it will be worth every cent in the long run! Thats awesome about your son and his friends new business adventure, good stuff and I hope all the best! I'm really happy that everything went well for you guys and that you are back to what you love doing! As always, I loved this video and keep on doing what your doing. It's always a pleasure to sit down and watch your channel!

Thank you so much for always supporting us! I hope it gets better weather soon for yall! It’s so rewarding getting to mow your yard after a long winter. Thank you so much for watching!
😂 There she is "cmon, let's go mow" 🤣💖 ( I need to make that into a ringtone ) I saw the thumbnail like, their mowing started before we got part 2 of the setup 😋 Today was actually our first day of mowing, and I was only going to do one yard, because the mild temps and cold nights are coming back for a few days, but we ended up doing three. Actually four, because did one more after I dropped off my helper and had a late lunch ( really it was a super late breakfast 😅 ). 🤣 I see you, Har, doing the rubberband leg dance 😂 I can't believe I was fighting with equipment in the truck bed at the first three mows, and didn't realize until I stopped for lunch ---🤨🤯😖🤪 _I have backpack racks now!!!_ 🤣🤣 Lord Jesus.... I completely forgot I installed them over the winter, and didn't even noticed them while my helper and I were working and putzing around the trailer...too much on my mind lately. Just the way you back the mowers off that trailer, I can tell you guys like it, but how does your _truck_ like it? 😅 I dunno, I'm making do right now, but I might go enclosed one day if I find one for a good price, and run it with a RAM 3500. 🙄 When I can afford all that, I probably won't be operating the business anymore, and field work will be done by my employees 😂 Congrats to the kids on their new business 🙏🙏🏽
She is so happy to be able to say that again! It really is a blessing to be able to start mowing again in the spring and see all the new growth. That’s awesome you ended up getting to do more work than you thought. The weather here has been fluctuating like crazy with cold nights and hot days. lol that’s the only dance I can do 😂
That’s funny about the blower rack and even funnier is I have been doing the same thing with our trimmers lol. The rack came a week or so ago and I haven’t had time to put it together yet. We really do like the trailer and want to take care of it. Thanks for noticing how carefully we back off the ramp. The truck is handling the trailer very well it’s much lighter than the gooseneck we had and the load is much lighter as well. The only difference is the height causes wind drag but the v-nose really does help spread the wind. The truck pulls like it’s not even there but I do notice about a 2 mpg difference between the open deck trailer and the enclosed trailer with the enclosed getting 15 mpg and the open deck getting 17-18 mpg. I hope you get to find the exact trailer you want for the perfect price! A RAM 3500 would be very nice and have all the power and torque you would ever need. Your gonna be the boss man pulling up in the best looking 3500 dually checking on your guys work. 😁👍 Thank you the kids are just getting started!

Are you thinking about getting your logo put on the sides and rear of the trailer? I think that would look sweet!
Yeah I totally agree about the transfer tank! As soon as I carried the gas can inside the trailer and I smelled the fumes I was like, nope can’t be doing that anymore! I think that would look really good with the new logo! We are looking into getting it down but just don’t know where to get something this big done in our area

I have a question? What kind of health insurance do you have? I'm asking because I am starting my own lawn care business, and I want to get health insurance
I Think my recommendation for your debris management setup should consit of two stihl br800 backpack blowers? they are the most powerful backpack blowers in the stihl lineup 912 cfm 239mph 41 Newtons of blowing force. price for both 800c $699.99 800x $649.99 The 800c stands for their easytostart system it has a feature to where you can start it when you have it on your back. plus it has a hip belt for added comfort when on the job. the 800x is the lighter version of the 800c. weights for both machines 800c 25.8Ibs 800x 23.1Ibs. I Think for your bigger cleanup jobs or bigger places to blow off like one of your Mcdonald's. you should two scag windstorms it is a stand on blower. the windstorm is powered by a briggs vanguard 37 horse fuel injected air cooled engine.it has a nozzle direction system (NDS) provides unprecedented control of the air discharge tilt- and rotation it has 16 degress of vertical tilt adjustment as well as 180 degress of horizontal rotation. it has a Massive airoutput of up to 6,000 effective CFM(7,500 theoretical peak CFM) a lot more blowing power than the backpack blowers but yet still productive for bigger tough cleanup jobs at a top speed of 10.5 mph. acessories for the windstorm include LED light kit, chrome wheel covers and a air filter service moniter all acessories sold separately and last but not least price is $13,659. any way a lot of information to process once again Hope this helps? by the I am a big Stihl fan I highly recomend stihl outdoor power equipment for your business? they are reliable bulit well powerful durable as well as good dealer support. I have a bg85c ,handheld blower sh86, blower vac br600 backpack blower a kombisytem km111r power head attachments I have are the string trimmer straight shaft edger power sweep with bristles plus a gta26 garden pruner That's my Stihl collection what's yours? also when you buy a piece of stihl gas powered equipment you get a 2 year limited warranty but if you buy a six back of the stihl hp ultra oil (six bottles) or Stihl motomix Patented Premixed fuel (one gallon minimum) you get a four year warranty. anyway hope you guys find all this information helpful for your business?
I absolutely love this comment and all the wonderful knowledge you brought with you. If you don’t work for a dealer then you should lol. You definitely gave us a lot to think about when it comes to new equipment and we will be taking your advice into consideration when making a new purchase. We are big fans of Stihl and our family has used them ever since they came out. I always buy the pack of mix oil to extend the warranty plus it really does make a lot of difference if someone doesn’t use the Stihl mix oil because it will cause damage.
