Danny Maccabee (Adam Sandler) meets the girl of his dreams (Brooklyn Decker) but has to enlist his loyal assistant Katherine (Jennifer Aniston) to pretend to be his soon-to-be ex-wife in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire, Katherine’s kids become involved, and everyone heads off to Hawaii for a ridiculous, out-of-control weekend that tests the limits of how far we’ll go for love.

Not a fan of American movies, but this one was surprisingly funny and good. It might be a ripoff of the cactus flower, but it has its own story, characters and humor.

American movies follow always the same 3 act structure, what makes them boring and actors mostly over act and the dialogues never seem natural. Just because they are commercially successful, doesn't mean they are good. It just means the business has the power to repress any other movies to play in the theater.

Nicole Kidman is so beautiful in this film, she manages to seem unreal. The other two main actresses in the film are beautiful, but Nicole is on another level. Furthermore, she is such a better actress than all the other actors in the film, that her character can be even funnier.

No actually, both these movies are based on a 1969 Hollywood Movie Cactus Flower (which itself is based on a French Play Fleaur De Cactus).
So, in a sense, Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya is a Rip-off of Cactus Flower.

Furious Hawk actually that was a ripoff of Egyptian movie that was released months before the Hollywood movie named “half an hour marriage” or you can just google “nos saa gawaz” u will find it was released September 1969 while cactus flower was released in December same year
