To answer the title of the video: "Roquefort the WHAT??" Well, Roquefort is the head of Finance, and an advocate for very predatory business practices.
The fight with Roquefort is definitely insane when you consider everything surrounding this fight. Literally everyone in the team was kind of scared to go against Roquefort, not only that but everytime you summon your friends during battle, they reassure you to stay calm and focused, and that's because Chai is completely out of his element here! Regardless of whether or not you do this sfight with Streamer Mode, the music that accompanies it is a remix of classical music with no rock music is sight, meaning that Chai is not used to this kind of music and actually took quite the beating because of it, given by the fact that Chai was noticeably tired at the end of the fight. (Funny enough, I feel like Ian shared the same pains that Chai was feeling in this aspect). And even scarier to consider, we didn't even actually beat this guy! He said so himself! He would always come back as long as Chai made him angry, which is guaranteed to happen because Chai makes every boss angry. He had to rely on the luck from a gold pile falling on top of him to keep him down, and 'im not entirely sure if he's down for the count either!
Roquefort's VA absolutely NAILED it, made this awesome fight even better. This was the moment I felt totally fine with some pacing issues in the midgame, absolutely paid off the buildup (Also fun fact, one cubic meter of gold is just shy of 20 metric tons or around 43,000 pounds, so it's no wonder that pile of gold would do him in - gold is very heavy!)
Ah yes, this boss fight is essentially, from the great words of the wise MeMe: "The art industry is controlled by the monarchs, eccentric millionaires and suspiciously wealthy furries"
To quote the Master chief from pantsahat, "If furries can afford a 400$+ fursuit they can easily afford a 10 dollar pipebomb to go right in your mailbox."
Roquefort is the coolest fight. the stile of him, the gameplay.,the stage and the music is fitting too. he also proofs what i always new, everything is better with Werewolfs.:P
Time to beat up a sci-fi Ebenezer Scrooge! Who also happens to be a money-man werewolf! Edit: Also I realised that everytime Roquefort transforms, a part of a classical theme plays and I forgot what it was called. Edit 2: It was Beethoven's 5th, fits with the whole rich and fancy old man thing Roquefort has. And it's only like part 20-ish? It feels like endgame already and it makes me kinda sad. Also also, hooray for character arcs!! It's so wholesome!
2:31 i need to know how this connects with the discussion, i think its going over my head. Ian doesnt ACTUALLY think Goku could beat Bugs Bunny, does he??? If that's the case and you're reading this right now, then no i am not kidding, this isnt a farmer with a shotgun type of joke, Bugs Bunny could ACTUALLY kick Goku's ass lmaooo
Just watched this entire series 1 - 19 over the span of my 2 days off, you guys are an absolute treasure to watch and I'll probably check out more from you.
How do these boss fights keep getting cooler?! Oh wow, almost full S-ranks there! Nice! And now we're leaving off on quite the cliffhanger, huh? I hope Casey's out-of-town stuff is going well!
Has Ian never heard of cartoon logic? Everything makes sense as long as it's funny. Therefore, while it cannot truly be determined(funniness can only be judged once observed, a.k.a. "Schrödinger's wabbit"), Bugs winning is the more likely outcome, because it's more likely the funnier outcome.
I just noticed that Wolfrick's arms and neck in his regular form look like robot parts. I may be stating the obvious, but his body is just one big cybernetic implant, which explains where he's pulling out his giant werewolf form from...
...I bet someone's calculated how much money there is in that vault room with actual math and everything. my very scientific estimate? lots. at least a hundred
Fun fact, it looks like Macaron's team up special is a reference to his voice actor's Apex Legends character, Newcastle, who has a very similar defensive wall ability!
did i hear him right it is just say" yes daddy ?" oh my gosh i don't know i have really really don't know what he's just said right now i'm just hearing things i have lots of words to say but i really don't know if i'm thinking too hard or he just say that out of spite or reflex..... my mind is already like melting right now for all of this thinking 🤨🤔🧐😵💫
Ah good, the next episode will start with one of my favourite scenes in this game! As for this one, well, the comments about the wolf of wall street and *suspiciously wealthy furry* have already been made. Wonderful boss aesthetic, that's for sure.
I discovered this channel from this series and I'm glad I stayed its been very entertaining watching y'alls reactions to this hilarious and incredible game
and now I'm wondering if all of the managers had been saved by Kale considering all of them had augmentation and seem very dedicated to him I wonder if the SPECTRA system is already being used.
Seriously tho Bugs bunny vs Goku is funny cuz Bugs wins without a doubt. Since cartoon character just do whatever they want, like knowing and interacting with the person writing the story or the real world making them basically omnipotent 😂
@bubbles46853 Yep, cartoon gag characters will always win. Manga Kid goku technically stronger then UI Goku cuz he's punched someone into the panel breaking it 😂.
I'm going back to the start, I like this game and I don't think I'll be able to play it. Fanatic videos, I do enjoy the random tangents in conversation you guys have.
So, because you guys stopped before the final fight, I'm thinking you'll have some funny dialogue when you start back at the hideout. I'm looking forward to your reactions when you come back.
The first person I saw play this game absolutely destroyed this boss. Made it look really easy. The boss didn't even have time to show off its cool moves..
I think Roquefort is a subtle nod to the "wolf of wall street", being a money man, and a cyber werewolf. Gotta say though love this boss fight.
Subtle?
HE’S A MECH-WOLF-ZILLA!!!!
and I love his design,…why?….
7:30 Me: 😱………. th-cam.com/video/0WFNn-6M4eU/w-d-xo.html
It's knot subtle at all.
@@runedoom no, I hate this, I order you to stop.

He's also a werewolf
That Boss Design, huh 😳
Imagine being on your deathbed and Jeff Bezos just decides to build a fursona inside of you
I just hope Roquefort had some hand in designing the thing, it’d be even worse if it was Bezos’ fursona and not your own
Roquefort is aware that he is furry bait, and he is EMBRACING it.
Furry bait = Profit
And I caught on to it...
@@laudj_art I mean..you're not wrong
I love how all of the team assists during the boss fight were trying to comfort and assuring Chai that he’s going to be all right.

welcome to the suspiciously rich furry

Bugs Bunny. Toon force is wack yo. In this death battle style essay I will--
Time to beat up a sci-fi Ebenezer Scrooge!

Actually, it's technically Wolfgang's 5th, which is a modified version of Beethoven's

19:39-19:56 is probably where the OT3 shipping comes from.
For me, it's where I ship those 3
Two things. 1: how does all that chrome fit under his skin? 2. The fact that his exosuit still has a tie and monocle sells it for me.

91% just timing for the whole stage is fucking incredible. You only need 85% for an S rank for comparison. Nice work Ian.
