Some disspointments and harsh realizations to this season. Some silver linings, too. For me, the biggest one is stumbling upon this channel. Football season for a lifelong Hawks fan living in Florida is kind of a lonely time. With the internet presence of the reactionary and toxic part of the fanbase getting larger and larger, this channel is the place to be. I'm looking forward to experiencing the good times with you all when Mike is waffle-stomping the NFC with a dominant defense in the future. Go Hawks!
Seattle offensively is in a bad spot. Most of our play makers are going to get very expensive for very little in return in terms of team success. We haven’t won a playoff game since 2019. We have had three OCs in that time. Two who are frankly not good (Waldron and Grubb). If we don’t make a massive change, we are reinforcing failure. Multiple games have all had the similar problems and it has been disastrous on multiple occasions. We lost to the giants for similar reasons
John Schneider bears responsibility for this situation, as he decided to bring in Grubbs to revamp the offensive line and offense instead of tackling the root problem-the offensive line itself. Rather than dedicating significant resources, such as major investments in free agents or high draft picks, he pursued a quick-fix solution with a new system. Consequently, the offense is now underperforming.
I honestly just wish they would fire Grubb after this last outing. Let the QB coach run the offense for the last 2 games and then start an exhaustive OC search. Thats what a competent GM would do. IMO JS has one more year or he's out
Grubb is a bad NFL OC. Not sure how it’s even debatable. Lack of balance in play calling is a fatal flaw in the NFL. Best teams are built from the top down. McDonald needs to fire Grubb and get a real NFL OC.
Football players remind me of those medieval jesters that dressed up in bright colors for the royal court. A bunch of grown ass men, in colored uniforms, fighting over a leather ball. And then there is this guy, who has literally made a dedicated playroom in his house to watch it. So strange.
What's "so strange" is how you came up with the word "playroom" from a few pictures behind a desk positioned to serve as a backdrop for a podcast. It takes all types of people to make up a world, man. Some people like the Kardashians, some people like beauty pageants, and some people like world class athletic competition. Find what makes you happy in this world let other people do their thing.
Thanks!
John....awesome Christmas gift...so cool...
Thank you so much, John. Your very kind. Merry Christmas, Brother!
At 1:51:00 : "some last questions." :D Proceeds to talk for 3 hours

MacDonald calling out Grubb for no run game multiple times is an obvious sign...
It hasn’t been that obvious
@@curtbernard755listen to the stream mate (before the 3 hour mark more or less)
@@curtbernard755even in this stream it was mentioned, it was direct criticism
@ I guess I haven’t heard to much of it from McDonald. He usually doesn’t throw people under the bus.
