+Baby Baby Keep in mind that this isn't the regular artsnacks box so I wouldn't compare it to a regular sketch box :) This one cost more as it was a semi-annual box so it did come with a higher quality of products. The sketchbook is monthly and is less expensive then the Studio Collection art snacks box.
Wow. So awesome! I want that subscription too! Gotta get it! I'm all new to the current type of art journaling! Just spent a couple hundred on art journaling supplies to get me started! Whew!!
Girl, I'm totally jealous... not really. =) but I'm thrilled that you did this unboxing of this Studio collection because I was crazy curious as to what they had in the studio collection. Everything high quality high priced (to me) items..=) Man, it looked worth your investment. Those sketching crayons are like chalk pastels....making me totally envious.. ;) If you do another Studio Collection, I will be looking forward to you unboxing it!!! ;)
+Nee J Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video :D I'm definitely planning on doing a few more unboxing videos of art boxes - not sure about another studio collection at this point as it will depend on the value of the dollar (as the Canadian dollar is worth much less than the us dollar right now) but ideally i'd love to :)
+Heidi Myrvang Hello! I probably won't do a video review but I can let you know what I thought of some of the things! The paintbrush was really nice - your could feel the quality in the bristles (to date, my fave acrylic brush). I absolutely adore the metallic paint, it's super high quality and i've used it many times since this opening. The fine liners are good, I prefer the thicker ones (M and F sizes) as some of the small one will become clogged very easily - not bad quality but not the best. I use the Caran D'ache pencils all the time, they work great, but they're not outstanding quality - the wood just looks nice. I haven't used the charcoals all that much but they seem to be quite high quality. As for Copics, you can never go wrong. I really like the jewel toned set that was included - super nice colours (there was a duplicate though, I already had the purple one). The sketch book has some really nice quality paper and i'm currently using it for my art. And the skittles were tasty! All in all, I was pretty happy about the value of what came in the box. There wasn't anything that disliked. Hope this works as a review!
+Darling Craftolate I love art boxes! I'll be doing a few more art reviews in the future so you can see some different types of boxes :) (For some reason I can't respond directly to you)
hi i am a new subscriber and you said that you sub to other art boxes. can you tell me what other art sub boxes you get? i used to get pigment + pallette but they went out of business :( i love your videos and your drawing was amazing. do you give classes? I'm trying to learn how to draw girl faces but I'm not very good. trying to find good classes that won't cost me an arm and a leg..lol thanks
+kandace ellis Hello! Thanks for the support :) I'm going to be trying out scrawlr box hopefully sometime this/next month (depends on shipping). I also plan to do a sketch box, and potentially more (smaller) art snacks openings in the future. I'm also going to be doing more drawing videos on this channel in the upcoming weeks, so i'll be sure to add drawing faces to my list :)
+Thestarsaregolden It cost around $130 dollars, but it ended up saving me at least $20 or more if I were to have bought each item individually. I also love surprises :)
+TheCraftyRabbit No this was the studio collection box so it was quite a bit more expensive. I believe it cost around $130. But i'm really pleased with the amount and quality of the materials. On the description card, it listed all the actual prices of the items and I believe it ended up saving me around $20 or so if I were to buy each item separately. :)
+Hoot! I usually try to film in a more doomed manner to really focus on the items being shown - I'll definitely give moving back a few inches a try though, so thanks for the suggestion!
That box is so cool. I have never heard of a art supply subscription box before.
this looks a lot nicer than the sketchbox. i'm glad I viewed this
