The secret to unlocking Bae's bravery must be smooth voices and compelling stories There is actually a 4th secret bad ending where you let the shadow take Daniel in the prison. I don't remember the details, but I think it has unique dialogue. It takes 10 realtime minutes though

The Brass Bull is the thing that stuck in my mind the most in this game. When you first see it, it's like, "huh. A statue?" But then you see it's something you can put people in. Then it's like. "Oh that can't be good." Then you notice all the wood, the pipe, and everything else. Then it becomes, "OH HELL NO!" That's a true device of nightmares right there.
It's a real torture device called the Brazen Bull and was used by Phalaris of Akragas to kill criminals (who was then killed by his own device when he was overthrown) and was then adopted by the Romans

Despite the game being titled Amnesia, I don't think I'll ever forget this series of streams during this Month of Horrors! Super proud to see the two of you fight your fears and prove yourselves as the brave and fearless Nature Rat duo! I always love a cosmic horror setting, so this was intriguing and enjoyable to explore with the two of you! Can't wait for you to release some "Expermenting on Agrippa's Head" ASMR next year.

I remember playing Amnesia when it came out, i played both its spiritual predecessors by the same dev team before but Amnesia actually made my heart beat so hard i couldnt play more then 1 hour a sitting.
I remember that Amnesia: The Dark Decent also had a other stories made by fans of the game that made a lot of stories that people can play in the Custom story mode which i don't know if it's possible to still play those modes or not but if it is then Bae and Fauna should try playing those modes some time when they can as some of the custom stories can really be both fun and scary :3

Well done by finishing Amneasia and you should definitely play SOMA where BAE is in the drivers seat and you backseating when necessary. While personally I would not use safe mode, I fully understand using it, since the tension alone can make people scared and the story alone is worth playing.

About 10 years ago I was so scared of this game I couldn't get past the first monster encounter. I think we might have gotten tougher from watching horror games, as much of the mystery that scares us is now referred to as "mechanics" and we feel comfortable about game mechanics. That being said, I was jumping out of my seat every time Fauna calmly escaped a monster haha

I mean, I don't think I would call Daniel the villain. I think Daniel had it right about what he said about himself. Basically, he felt cornered, and Alexander took advantage of him. At some point, Daniel realized what he was doing was wrong "what is the value of a life" (paraphrasing next part because don't remember exactly how it went) "a life for a life. I'm fine with taking the life of a murderer to save my own, but an innocent life to save me, a murderer?" He grew to hate Alexander for what he made Daniel in to, but I guess he also feared Alexander (he mentioned he didn't know if he could do anything because of fear, or something like that, in one of his last notes), so I guess that's why he took the amnesia drink? So, basically, how I see it, Daniel was trying to make amends the only way he knew how, by stopping Alexander. I mean, before the amnesia drink, Daniel even knew everything alexander was trying to do with the orb... And I wouldn't be surprised if Daniel wasn't planning on making it out alive. As he DID die, but was saved by Agripa (writing all of this after the first ending... might edit parts of this later after done with other endings, but might also just leave this as is... This seems like a good ending...)

I think Amnesia _was_ incredibly scary when it came out, but not any more in a culture that it has had ample time to influence. Same token by which Seinfeld isn't funny. Still, it remains a masterwork of coherent, visceral, atmospheric horror with relatively little reliance on jumpscares.

There is actually a 4th secret bad ending where you let the shadow take Daniel in the prison. I don't remember the details, but I think it has unique dialogue. It takes 10 realtime minutes though

The Brass Bull is the thing that stuck in my mind the most in this game. When you first see it, it's like, "huh. A statue?" But then you see it's something you can put people in. Then it's like. "Oh that can't be good." Then you notice all the wood, the pipe, and everything else. Then it becomes, "OH HELL NO!" That's a true device of nightmares right there.
It's a real torture device called the Brazen Bull and was used by Phalaris of Akragas to kill criminals (who was then killed by his own device when he was overthrown) and was then adopted by the Romans

It's funny to see the girls constantly pass judgement and condemn Daniel as evil while only paying half attention to the story and talking over his reasoning
Despite the game being titled Amnesia, I don't think I'll ever forget this series of streams during this Month of Horrors! Super proud to see the two of you fight your fears and prove yourselves as the brave and fearless Nature Rat duo! I always love a cosmic horror setting, so this was intriguing and enjoyable to explore with the two of you! Can't wait for you to release some "Expermenting on Agrippa's Head" ASMR next year.

I remember playing Amnesia when it came out, i played both its spiritual predecessors by the same dev team before but Amnesia actually made my heart beat so hard i couldnt play more then 1 hour a sitting.
I remember that Amnesia: The Dark Decent also had a other stories made by fans of the game that made a lot of stories that people can play in the Custom story mode which i don't know if it's possible to still play those modes or not but if it is then Bae and Fauna should try playing those modes some time when they can as some of the custom stories can really be both fun and scary :3
Congrats on finishing this highly influential game you two! It was a very exciting ride from start to finish. I loved all the silly jokes with Tommy, Agrippa and Alexander. Looking forward to the final installment of Brave & Fearless and I hope there will be more to come with Soma later. IKZ!

Well done by finishing Amneasia and you should definitely play SOMA where BAE is in the drivers seat and you backseating when necessary. While personally I would not use safe mode, I fully understand using it, since the tension alone can make people scared and the story alone is worth playing.

I do like how the point of the story is being missed as the girls insist that Alexander is the good guy and look at everything from that viewpoint.

About 10 years ago I was so scared of this game I couldn't get past the first monster encounter. I think we might have gotten tougher from watching horror games, as much of the mystery that scares us is now referred to as "mechanics" and we feel comfortable about game mechanics. That being said, I was jumping out of my seat every time Fauna calmly escaped a monster haha

I mean, I don't think I would call Daniel the villain. I think Daniel had it right about what he said about himself. Basically, he felt cornered, and Alexander took advantage of him. At some point, Daniel realized what he was doing was wrong "what is the value of a life" (paraphrasing next part because don't remember exactly how it went) "a life for a life. I'm fine with taking the life of a murderer to save my own, but an innocent life to save me, a murderer?" He grew to hate Alexander for what he made Daniel in to, but I guess he also feared Alexander (he mentioned he didn't know if he could do anything because of fear, or something like that, in one of his last notes), so I guess that's why he took the amnesia drink?
So, basically, how I see it, Daniel was trying to make amends the only way he knew how, by stopping Alexander. I mean, before the amnesia drink, Daniel even knew everything alexander was trying to do with the orb... And I wouldn't be surprised if Daniel wasn't planning on making it out alive. As he DID die, but was saved by Agripa (writing all of this after the first ending... might edit parts of this later after done with other endings, but might also just leave this as is... This seems like a good ending...)
Only in a Fauna and Bae collab can I hear about Alexander becoming an anime vtuber. Just amazing

The greatest part of this playthrough was how brave Fauna and Bae have become The lesson we learned with Alexander today is to never meet your heroes no matter how nice their voice is
I think Amnesia _was_ incredibly scary when it came out, but not any more in a culture that it has had ample time to influence. Same token by which Seinfeld isn't funny. Still, it remains a masterwork of coherent, visceral, atmospheric horror with relatively little reliance on jumpscares.
