Some of the first skate contests ever were held right next to there 40 years ago. We are not going anywhere. The skatepark across the street was also removed for more hotels. Skateboarding is a 2 billion dollar industry a year and now in the Olympics. The schools around that area have skate p.e.... so we are not going anywhere. Cut some grooves in the concrete about 1 1/2 deep and wide. Just enough to catch the wheels but not enough to trip someone walking (unless they're going to the beach in heels).

Skateboarders have talent.. I couldn't stay upright for more than a minute even as a kid.. I just wish they would be a bit more considerate regarding their noise and potential injury to others.. I see both sides here but Skateboarders shouldn't behave like Douches as blatantly as they do at times. Just my 2 cents

Speed bumps would help a lot for people pushing baby strollers, especially the double ones the weight going steep downhill can be scary.
Idea raise taxes to install speed bumps and put padding on the entire surface of the ramp to ensure public safety.
