- In today's episode of Alex's Caves, I decided to explore the 4th cave biome, the Abyssal Chasm. This one is honestly now one of my favorites added by the mod!

I feel like there is an achievement for killin' the hullbreaker.
I just finished playing a minecraft session in a modded server with my friends and I was the first one to abandon my friends and travel and habitate in the primordial caves :)
The magic conch summons deep ones which are hostile towards any hostile mobs that hit you
Did you know that Alex's Caves is compatible with the Create Mod? The mod makes it so those sub-lifts are actually functional. Also, there is an easy way to farm mussels. Just put them on a log, and use marine snow to speed up their production.
There is also a create addon called "create: oppenheimered" which allows greater compatibility with create. Such as being able to make guaranteed percision mechanisms with telecores and big cogs, and getting a guaranteed amber curiosity (and a 2% chance of getting a nautulus shell) from crushing amber. There is also alot more that the mod makes compatible, but I'll let u discover that 🙂

Maybe? In all honesty probably not tho, but I’ll take videos going over eye new cave biomes as they come out!

I think the 2 things I hate about the Abyssal Chasms are. 1, you can't breathe underwater yet and you need to rely on potions. and 2, the Hullbreaker
You can cheese the Hullbreaker by kiting it to the surface
the hullbreaker isn't hostile untill you keep shining the subamarines light at it or you have the glow affect
and i mean i think thats unique because there are no other biome exempt for the coral that are underwater and nobody usually uses potions so i like that you need to use potions
