- The Medieval Town of Toruń is a fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site. It covers the town of Toruń, which was greatly expanded in the 13th century by the Teutonic Knights, a group of German religious crusaders. There's a lot of interesting stuff here: the Old Town, the New Town, a ruined castle, and the home of Nicolas Copernicus as well - did you know he was Polish?

Toruń is indeed one of the unmissable tourist destinations for medieval lovers in Europe. These very old-looking red brick buildings and fortresses are the best witnesses of the Middle Ages.
Loved it thank you for taking us to another amazing place! :)
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
Loved it! Why don't you have more subs?
Thanks! Subs are climbing slowly, all in good time 😉
I always find it such a shame when they leave castles as ruins rather than rebuilding them to their former glory!
