I’m still waffling on doing parsnips as I’m the only one hat eats them. Missed the live as it didn’t pop up but not to wiporry I’ll catch up with it. My goal this year successional sowings 🤞. Have a super week and happy gardening, Ali ☔️🇨🇦

We all like parsnips here and carrots so growing 50% more of each this year. Thanks for watching Ali.

Compost bag is a good tip. My soil is still too cold but I can't wait to sow my carrots and parsnips. First try at parsnips last year didn't go well so I'll try them again this year

Hi Mags. Over sow, be patient and have fresh seed for parsnips. Plus soft stone free soil if possible. Thanks for watching 👍

This year Jason I'm trying the chitting method on kitchen paper and also trying some in kitchen paper rolls, then later as the soil warms I'll direct sow as well... Pea frames and peas sown direct today too..

Hi Stephen. That should cover all the bases. They can be difficult to germinate. Great news on the peas. We will soon be complaining it’s to warm and dry 😂

Great stuff. Let’s hope we both have some warm weather soon and good harvests later in the year.
