There are two types of ic chip. one with heatsink coverd which is costly. other one doesnt have protection, hence the heatsink cannot be connected with amp body. I love my old 2n3055 amp. It contains 16 transistors total for each channel. Well LM3886 is the best one for sound and bass quality.
