Thank you ma. I have 2 khadhi sarees. It is very comfortable to wear and drape. But after some washes small thread balls appear over the surface. I bought these at a high price from reputed boutique saree sellers only. I had only hand washed these sarees with mild soap only. I will go for meesho khadhi if it is good stuff.

i)No need to put any startch to maintain this saree mam ii)Special maintenance is not needed for this cloth iii)You can use your hands or machine to wash this material iv)First two wash don't use soap to wash any types of new sarees .This is applicable for all sarees not only this saree. Instead of soap wash, use periya salt water la mix panni( use cold water) antha water la entha cloth wash pannunga apdi pannuna colour wash out agathu .sayam porathu kammiya agum .After 2 washes usual ah eppadi wash pannuvengalo athe maari soap pottu nama wash pannalam mam v) Shrinkage neraya irukkathu.Irunthalum after 2 to 3 times wear pannitengana iron panni kattuna romba neat ah irukkum pakka . Evaluvu than mam vera ethuvum special maintenance illa .Entha saree lam like handloom saree than katta and wash panna romba nalla irukkum .
