You know anybody interested in a 2000 SP1 with about 3500 miles, 33rd bike off the production line and basically stock.... slip ons, aftermarket windscreen and seat are about it. All stock parts on hand. Stored indoors at all times and in mint condition. Northeast USA.
Yeah we were a little surprised too but that is rear wheel. Also it doesn't rev anywhere near as much as a 750 thus less power but more torque. Superbikes have come a very long way in terms of power since these things were released
@@MoodSwingZX that's rear wheel power it has an estimated 142 at the crank. So depends what you are comparing. But the crank is an estimate because we are measuring rear wheel and the dyno then calculates the estimated crank power. What 750 do you have???
If you look at the video properly, we have a high powered centrifugal fan forcing air into the ram air duct, that is what the black tube going to the front of the bike is. It is a very power fan and replicates close to 200km/h wind.
@@murasawatetsuya1975 yes agree, and while it is not perfect it does ramp with speed, has a variable speed controller. Still not perfect but its not bad.
It’s very important to fully tuck on the dyno to get extra horsepower and avoid all the wind
Hahahaha absolutely.
Lol yeah it adds 00.01bhp
Either that or he is listening for detonation…
Haha I was just thinking the same..😂
Another YT video dyno with out results! 😂 😂
My thoughts exactly!! I was like.."WT Hell you know what!! 😁
That it my boy, stay low for beter results.
Literally just finished a 1 month review on an SP1 for my channel. I loved it so much I just bought a Castrol liveried SP1 for myself ♥️

@@mikerieck306still got the bike? Might know someone who is interested
@@pratmak Yes....I still have the bike.
What an awesome sound. I need to review one on my channel.
They are awesome! such an iconic bike!
💥
Results guys!!! WHAT THA.......!
What were the numbers ???
Was about 120hp at the rear wheel. Sorry with our newer videos we show the dyno graphs as well but in this earlier one we didn't

No, CBR900RR is more closer towards these days superbike.
This is a V Twin, alternative superbike category.
What exhaust does this one have
that ones has Yoshi slip ons
how much force is on the rear wheel ??
120HP
@@RaceCenterAU wow my 750 does more. But much less Nm. Thought the do aroud 130

Numbers?
120HP rear wheel
Me need more
You donut
The VTR-SP cannot measure accurate horsepower without sending wind to the ram air duct.
This measurement method is meaningless.

it is. Look at black pipe mounted to the front of bike
I don't think it can be synchronized with the actual vehicle speed.
It is necessary to control the amount of wind sent.
@@murasawatetsuya1975 yes agree, and while it is not perfect it does ramp with speed, has a variable speed controller. Still not perfect but its not bad.
@@RaceCenterAU You are making an effort to make accurate measurements.
Please do your best in the future.
Not every one gives a shit ,just ride the thing
