+Candice Grant I wonder if KRS-One knew that someday Craig Johnson would make a perfectly timed quip with his song? I was actually inspired and just ordered a CD of KRS-One's Return of the Boom Bap.

As a Fan of Shannon I'm upset you didn't discuss his role more. The scene where he explains he's willing to take a beating for his gambling problems as long as it doesn't screw with his physical appearance as a cop was amazing.I love WttB and the only scene-it suggestions I thought of were, were this and revolutionary road, both because of Shannon, so this episode gives me half-closure,On an end note I love how you guys approach movies, You guys let a movie give you fun even with plotholes. Tons of great movies have polotholes, and it doesn't mean we need to dismiss it completely, devoiding ourselves of enjoyment and fun,Thanks for the great content guys. Your 16th President.

I think that Patton is awesome for all of the reasons that Craig said, but I also believe that an anti-war person could see the movie and have empathy for Gnrl. Patton. He was an ass, but he never sacrificed his beliefs, morals, or values. He always stayed true. The audience feels intense drama when his principles are challenged.

The guy who played D-Day, Bruce McGill, also played the recurring character Jack Dalton in MacGuyver, keeping on with his moustache ways. He was a highschool friend of MacGuyver and a pilot, with a lot of failed businesses and schemes, who had a twitch in his eye when he lied.

Great episode! I'm surprised there was no mention of the film Quicksilver with Kevin Bacon. It's the only other bike messenger movie I can think of and has the more traditional storyline of guy that did have a "real job", but lost it and has to learn how to grow up and believe in himself again through...being a bike messanger. Could have been an interesting talking point, Seen It?

For 1945 you should watch Spellbound or And Then There Were None.

Bruce McGill (D-Day) will also probably be very familiar to most MacGyver fans, as he played the recurring role of Jack Dalton, the main character's roguish pilot friend who was always cooking up get-rich-quick schemes.

Fun episode, fellas! That actor from Animal House and Lincoln would be Bruce McGill. He had a recurring role of MacGyver, lead an excellent episode of Miami Vice, and had supporting roles in The Insider, Collateral, Timecop, and this year's Run All Night. He's an actor with incredible range, and has been in TONS of stuff.
I wonder if you guys have seen the movie Zero Effect with Bill Pullman and Ben Stiller. Kind of a quirky detective comedy, but I felt it was a really smart piece of work. I had to ask permission to stay out past curfew just to see this movie since it was only playing late at night in its original release. If you've SEEN IT, please let me know what you think of the film.
