I don't think he requires memorization. But if you read it everyday & study it, it should start to stick with you. I never could remember either until I started reading it more & after a long time. If you really want to memorize, start out with short ones, like a favorite one. Write some on cards & put around the house & in your car. That helped me too.

This is one of the oldest bible readings out there! Alexander Scourby is an ancient voice of the bible reading the King James Version. I'm pretty sure it's the authorized version? Mine has he him, male & female, & he them?!?!? Not all KJV's are authorized versions. Maybe yours has been altered.
