      Im Estia I use a lot of oils because each one is different. I have an oil base that goes into most of my products. Imagine using unscented beard oil in your pomade. That's basically what I do.

      Yo dude, at 2 mins 12 looks like you're adding PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, as opposed to Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Castor Wax) as it states in your ingredients, do you actually use HCO or just PEG-40?

    It's just like making a lotion, only adding beeswax. Typically beeswax is a no no in lotion, but for making this pomade, I think it's what give it hold and the e-wax is what keeps it from separating. Now, what if you add kaolin clay or silica microspheres? Will that give it a matte finish?

  • @tuanlevo8402
    @tuanlevo8402 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nice vid. What a great texture that you make! I tried to do the same thing but the problem is: when i add more beewax for more hold and blend it nicely. After the mix cool down, it become pretty hard to apply by hand, and if i add more coconut oit or butter it become so greasy and the hold is reduce although i blend it by machine just like you do. Can you show me what the problem is ? Thanks so much.

      @brandenrockriver9721 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      HazardGaming17 remember, never start selling a product that you don't fully understand. The main reason I didn't want to give away secrets is due to the fact that you can really harm someone if a water based product isn't made correctly.

    • @brandenrockriver9721
      @brandenrockriver9721 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      if you don't preserve it properly and do things right you can seriously harm someone. so unless it's for personal use you're going to have to do a LOT of research.

    • @brandenrockriver9721
      @brandenrockriver9721 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      HazardGaming17 Oil based are a lot safer in general. However, they can still go bad, especially if they get water in them. I always recommend would be entrepreneurs and home brewers start there.

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      HazardGaming17 rock makes it look easy but he's really put in the work and research to make it look that easy. He's absolutely right, safety is paramount when working with waterbased products. You should all check out his stuff I was blown away by what I got to see in hanging out with him and seeing how he does his work.

    • @gtf187
      @gtf187 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      syahmi sksi could be an imbalance between the wax and oils, too much wax not enough oil or petroleum. or it could be the ingredients are starting to separate before it can cool. try sticking it in the freezer after you mix it to see if that helps.

      Rosemary essential oil is NOT the R.O.E. Rosemary Oleoresin Extract ppl preserve their oils with and neither will protect against mold or bacteria. There are plenty of preservatives on the market you can use (natural or otherwise) or you can make sure you only use clean dry fingers in your product and make tiny batches..👍🏻

      Naza Setera you can check his site for a list of the ingredients but this isn’t meant to teach you to brew so we won’t be revealing anything further

      The first ingredient is water…. And because it’s first that means it’s the highest percentage inside the formula. The BASE in the word Water-BASEd. That means there’s more water in it than anything else.. even oil.

    Are you kidding me with this!? "Waterbased"... WATER!!! There's 12 different oils in this! This is anything but "waterbased"!

      1984sFinest hahaha it’s always funny to me to see people who don’t get it talk like they do. Let me help so you understand. If there were no oils there would just be water ( yes there is water he’s stirring it at 3:56 ) waxes and butters. This would not produce a useable product. The oils also serve specific purposes within the product that the brewer identifies as characteristics that they want their Pomade to have. So yes this is waterbased Pomade and if you tried to brew it yourself you could not make it without oils. Thanks for watching.
