Always remember this being shown deny school holidays, I’ve been blood donor for 30 years, I’d encourage anyone who’s eligible to donate. You make a difference to someone and it’s good for your own body to have to make up what you’ve donated
I remember this advert on TV over here in Northern Ireland. I'm now nearly 50 and became a blood donor a few years ago and should have started donating YEARS ago. I used to have a REAL fear of needles but I bit the bullet and became a donor. I still get nervous at the moment the needle goes in but the thought that I could potentially be saving somebody's life makes me persevere plus donating has help me overcome my fear of needles. Pity it can't do something about my SEVERE rodent phobia especially RATS🐀😂😂 What I remember most about this advert was the member of the Spinners saying"Where's that cup of tea you promised me?" That phrase has been rattling through my brain since I was a child.AH MEMORIES. To all non blood donors out there "Please X 💯 consider becoming a blood donor, you could save someone's life. I know that when I feel down which is quite often, this thought makes me proud of myself and gives me strong thoughts of self worth.😀😀
Same I remember it on northern Ireland tv I'm 50 was born in 1973,my most memorable was "Hello Andy" I remember it like yesterday, the world is a very different place now than it was back then...Happy memories❤
Whatever happened to the public information films. Fun fact: The Spinners Motown band had to be known as the Detroit Spinners in the UK because of this band.
The phrase Cliffs bloods red has always been etched in my head
