I’ve been up the secret spiral staircase. That was opened for the first time in 2011 since the Secret Spiral Staircase was closed in 1926 and was open every Saturday and Sunday plus bank holidays from 2012 between April-September very year subject to weather conditionsby booking in advance. National Trust members got free admission, non-members £5.00 per person. But since Covid and in 2022 was only open for 2 special open days last year. Don’t know what is happening for 2023.
