Outstanding!!! Very well done! Thanks! I've been troubleshooting this circuit for hours. Mine is a 93, but the same principal applies, just a different location for the fuel pump relay.
I’m chasing ghost right now. I was surprised when I found constant power at fuel pump relay, even when key isn’t on the car. Sounds like that’s normal. I did send the computer off to ECU exchange. Maybe it’s not totally repaired. Thanks for the video. It’s helping me think about some other possible problems.
so i have a 89 without a computer at all so let me understand correctly, all i have to do is ground the fuel pump relay under the driver seat and my fuel pump will come on and work? i currently have power to the fuel pump relay under driver seat.

The computer provides a ground for the relay to close the relay so yes.
Any luck?
Worked like a charm brother.thank you so much
I simply cut the ground wire and added a wire, inline that i grounded at the seat bolt. Tested the rear wire and it was hot💪💪💪💪
