Its crazy how outdated raider is, everyone else got upgrades but because raider used to be amazing (still is in 4's tbf) he's just left in the dust. Tbh Cent doing stam damage isn't all that wild since pretty much every bash in the game does stamina damage. So IDK why you're complaining about that. Pre-rework Jorm stamina was absurd doing 20-30 stam damage meanwhile Cent is doing 10 stam damage at the cost of 15 of his own stamina. You just made a bunch of bad reads and got punished for it. If it stam paused I'd understand but it doesn't.
Ehm.... you do realise that the reason for why I complained, is NOT because it TAKES stamina, and like you said, pretty much all do, its the fact that it PAUSES it. I dont know how you completely forgot about that... Like have you played the fella? You even see in the video that my stamina doesnt go back up after I got bashes! Also, Jorm NEVER got confirmed health damages with his bashes, since they are were made to get you OOS, because its then were the bashes now got the ability to slam you unto the ground. In Cent's case, he gets all 3 things at the same time: 1. Health damage 2. Stamina damage 3. Stamina pause Well, also Cent is NOT the best at that, since we have BP over here that takes so much of your stamina + stamina pause + health damage. Its just that Cent was just now in the crosshair.
Nothing about that 3rd round against cent is that special. U tried to interupt him twice so lost stamina on the attacks and got bash stamina drained from the 6 bashes which were perfectly executed so just well played by the cent. Still it took that many bashes and wrong reads from u to drain ur stamina there from a little shy of 3 quarters to 0. And like in the 3rd and 4th round cent gonna be probably low stam when takin you out of stam. just part of his defence to keep ur stamina low in his offense especially when he starts counterattacking after you had ur turn in which you drained ur stamina.
I think you misinterpreted what I meant. I didnt say anything about Cent, I am a "side" main with Cent so I love the guy, but what I meant was that the devs removed stamina damage based gameplay from Jormungandr since they claimed it as "unhealthy", yet there are STILL so many characters in this game who can do exactly the same thing that Jorm did. Thats what I mean. The fact that Cent still can bash me out of stamina is the issue, not about the fact that he kept hitting me, thats not an issue. Raider suffers greatly if he cant use his stamina since, he needs to make setups to get started with his combos, since he has no opener.
@@jespernojaYT The reason why it wasn't healthy was that Jorm's entire kit was based around keeping your opponent OOS. That and the combination of him doing regularly 20+ damage was not good. Most bashes are even with how much stamina the cost to how much stamina damage the do. However Cent's is negative. He does 10 stamina damage at the cost of 15 of his own stamina per punch, not including the light follow up. The only way Cent can bash you out of stamina is if you don't manage your own stamina and make incorrect reads, both of which you should be punished for. Raider could unironically uses some changes. His storming tap is unreactable but it comes from a single side making it easier to deal with than other soft feints. I think a base increase of his stam from 120 to 130/140 would be a decent change as he could maintain his chains longer. And maybe introduce a bash similar to Medjays in axe mode. The animation wouldn't look horrible as they are similar size and would all Raider to get into his chain pressure without needing to backstep light. That and increase the forward movement of his heavies, atleast until dodge recovery cancels are nerfed. That's one of the big issues in high level team fights right now. His heavies don't have enough forward movement to keep up with characters like Orochi, Zerker or Pirate just spinning around externally dodge attacking people.

It doesnt make sense. Also, the current META of the game is all about pressing buttons and thats it. Look at the top characters in this game atm like Afeera / Shinobi / Orochi / Tiandi / Shaolin etc, they all have the same thing about them, which is recovery cancel + infinite chains. They are also extremely safe to play since they can just keep pressing buttons and they can do so many different 50 / 50s which makes the match against them very unfun if you are a "lower" end tier character, like Jorm / Lawbringer / Warlord / Gryphon / Ocelotl etc. The game is nowhere near balanced, since its so much in favor to those characters who can just keep spamming attacks since they have so much stamina. Jormungandr was never good, he got nerfed so badly so quickly after his release, but he still was good against those people who had no second thoughts about actually playing the game, since they will just keep attacking, and if Jorm got for example a parry, he would drain and pause the stamina, which in turn would make it so they ACTUALLY needs to think about what they are doing, and not just throw your stamina out like its worth nothing. Also, regarding Raider, I think he is in need of QoL changes ASAP. I agree he needs more stamina. NO BASHES, he doesnt need one and if he gets one he has no uniqueness to him. I agree he needs better forward momentum with his heavy's, since he is rather stationary when he does them. I also could want to make them a slightly bit faster, since dodge recoverys + bashes completely neglect them. I would like Raider to have enhanced Lights, since he is all about full on chain pressure, so if he got enhaced Lights, he would stop since his Light got blocked. I could say that his chain Lights should not be enhanced but only his neutral one, but I dont even know if that will be enough. It could be enough if for example you did a chain top Heavy and then soft-feinted into Light you could choose if the Light comes out of either Right or Left side, since that would make it so Raiders gameplay isnt so predictable.
Unfortunately, no - Ubisoft is the only company that allows its own customers to be trolled and they are afraid of memes about Centurion. That's why they prefer cent and lawdaddy to be weak, otherwise there will be memes again about how they are not powerful @@jespernojaYT
