We will totally go back for Part 2 someday! So much good still to try. Maybe we will bring some friends next time! It means a lot when you like and subscribe, so thanks in advance! N&K
So I must have been too tired from my day trip to The Hague. Or maybe I’m too old. Ha! I tried it last night but it was packed and a bit of a scene which I wasn’t in the mood for. I didn’t stick around but I saw some good options.
Just went there a few days ago. We went at the wrong time. It was about 6PM and it was PACKED. No seating. We had to go out in the breezeway and eat on top of one of the planters. So it kinda worked out. But everything is way overpriced. We got the beef rice paper rolls and the spring rolls from the Vietnamese place. We didn't even bother with Mexican. The tacos were about 2 for $10. That's just ridiculous.
Mexican food is severely lacking in NL. Sure there are Mexican places..but it’s all ‘adjusted’ for the Dutch palette. I feel like going to Cali or Texas (or Mexico haha) is the easiest way of getting some more authentic Mexican food. Sure miss my time in California and having great food around the corner at all times!

We totally missed this when we visited - have to go when we come back!!
It’s pretty great! They have a “film” hall right next door…

Yep, I get that… It’s tough when it’s crowded… we always go for lunch….
If you’re missing good Mexican, try Bacalar just up from the Eye Museum.
We will have to add that to our list!

It does get very busy. If you think that’s a lot for tacos, definitely avoid the train station food hall in Rotterdam. €9 for 1 street taco. 😳
if you want American bbq go to pendergast in Amsterdam!
and Bacalar for the best mexican food.
We went for Nate’s birthday a few years ago… it was really great!
Don’t know Bacalar…. Will check it out! Thanks for watching!
Surinam food is pretty spicy.
Love it!

Awww man, I thought I liked some of that. :-)
Dessert was good. Wait until you see me eat fruit cocktail with alpacas!
